We had a wonderful time at this hotel. From some Of the other reviews I was expecting a slightly shabby, slightly depressing place. This is not a luxury hotel or new but I found it to be comfortable, nicely updated. Our room was spacious and refreshed with new carpet, paint, furniture etc. it was also clean. the pool and restos adjcent were great and staff friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Atlantic Sands Hotel. The beach acces is amazing (First floor is awesome because you don't have to wait for the elevator) and it is so close to Rehoboth Ave just a nice little walk through the neighborhood behind the hotel. The night of check in there were a couple things that needed addressed. I told front desk agent about it and she documented it. The GM was aware of it the next morning when I came to talk to him. We were there in July 2022, thought I wrote a review already. The rooms were clean and just steps from the beach, of course. I would visit again. There were many choices for food at a walking distance, not just typical boardwalk food.
