Brought the whole family of 7, and each of us had a great meal. Every dish was fantastic. Best short ribs I've ever had...

We ordered dinner from Jam through Door Dash last night. Let me preface this by saying I've never left a bad review for a restaurant online before but this was honestly one of the worst meals I've had in years.First, an entire meal of chicken satay was missing. Ok, no biggie mistakes happen. Just disappointing. Then we looked at and tasted the rest of the food. The $20 burger was supposed to be cooked medium well. It arrived beyond well done, dry and cold. The $15 beet salad was only beets with a few pieces of cashews. No greens or goat cheese at all like how its listed on the menu. The $23 fettuccine alfredo could only be considered a side order at best with very few noodles and light sauce thrown on top. The short ribs were the only dish well recieved.I know not every dish is going to be perfect all the time, but to have this many errors on a single order is just embarrassing.

The old Jam location was great. I went there often in all the years they were open. I've tried the new location 3 times now with 3 very bad experiences. Rude bartenders, bad service, slow service, getting orders wrong... and I'm super bummed about it because I liked the food, but after my most recent experience I will never go back. The owner should spend more time there to see how poorly it's being run, if they're not already. RIP, Jam.

We visited Sunday November 29 and were a party of 4. Let me start by saying the food was EXCELLENT, I had the Salmon and Salad, my husband had the Scallops and Portobello. The experience was ABYSMAL though. Why? The staff was extremely disorganized and as a result highly inefficient, confused, and irresponsible. The slowness was tolerable due to the excellent food and drink however the experience became abysmal when the staff managed to lose / displace not only our (and our friends) Cape Gazette discount cards that we had just purchased but also managed to lose our friends credit card (we paid with cash). This caused a lot of distress and lost time while we waited around for the staff to find the missing credit card and the prepaid discount cards, which were never found btw. Our friends are older and on a fixed income and the loss of their credit card will cause them disruption and frustration. All in all an absolutely lousy experience even though the food was great and we have had many excellent meals and experiences at JAM and Eden before. It was so bad that we will probably not go back to JAM again and will stop recommending the restaurant. Extremely disappointing evening, in all our 8 years living and dining out in this area we have never experienced such disorganized, unprofessional staff. Oh and I forgot to mention that I ordered the Salmon and Salad which was suppose to be a $22 special but they charged us $28 on the bill and because of the extremely slow service and disorganization we just decided to pay the $28 on the bill rather than go through the trouble of asking them to make the correction.

5 stars for the Great Staff and Great Cocktails! But this place needs a chef. Like now.

We were so excited to try this place. It was absolutely horrendous. My sister ordered an expensive ribeye and it was a step down from diner food. It was very over cooked and very thin. The flavor was awful. The risotto tasted old and hard. When we returned the meal, all they did was take it off the bill. No apologies and no concern for what they had served. The calamari was dry and served without a dipping sauce. The fried pickles were awful. The expensive piece of salmon was super small. Never returning.

Recommended spot by my mom who was vacationing in the area about a month prior. Definitely more her scene, but I can speak to the drinks being delicious. You can't make a wrong choice!

My friends and I showed up around 1pm for lunch. Seemed like everyone was sitting upstairs in the rooftop area but we were with my daughter and wanted to get out of the heat so we sat downstairs. We ordered drinks then our meals and waited. For some reason our food took 50 mins for it to come out. I'm not sure why it took so long..maybe since we sat downstairs they forgot about us? Our order was two beyond burgers, a Omelette and a pork sandwich. Luckily my daughter has her own food or she would have been screaming. Our waiter was nice but we would disappear for awhile too. When we finally got our food my side Caesar salad was a bit too peppery and it was just romaine lettuce no cheese or any other veggies. I gave two stars for pork sandwich. That was pretty good (pork chop, pork belly, garlic aioli with broccoli).Atleast the food was fairly priced!

I actually wasn't going to leave a bad review but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to save people from spending their money in this terribly bad restaurant. Everything we ordered except the shrimp cocktail was inedible. The scallops were undercooked and the dish they were in was a milky, cheesy mess. The cornbread and the pasta were microwaved. It was very odd because it almost seemed like they were experimenting on their patrons to see if the dishes were viable. The manager and the sous chef were very nice and apologetic and they gave us our dinner for half price but the truth is we shouldn't have paid anything because we didn't eat anything. My wife's Orange Crush was good, though! Anyway, I hope they find their footing because it's a cool space and the staff seems nice but until they do, I would spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Anyway,

Went for happy hour. No food available except for regular menu. Ordered a burger medium well, came out rare. Drinks only $2 off. Was better when it was in other site.

The braised beef short ribs were fantastic, also had blackened swordfish steak which was very good. The food and the drinks are very good the prices are average for the area and the would recommend you try it for yourself I'm pretty sure you will enjoy it.

I would like to take a moment and simply state, Jam Bistro should be called "The Jam"! The food was amazing! They are in a sweet spot right close to the main thoroughfare of Rehoboth Beach! From when we entered at 5pm to the servers promptly seating us, I knew we were in for a treat! Jam Bistro was recommended to us by our knowledgeable server, Liam! He and the whole staff were very friendly! We even got to meet the sous chef, Jay! He's a smart and funny guy. He knows his way around the kitchen! The restaurant was homey and well-decorated with modern touches while paying homage to a time of the past residing inside what was once an old home! The dining room is filled with lots of natural light and the energy that spills out from the main road! Upstairs is a cool covered terrace bar for a happy hour bar and perhaps a way to take in the sunset! We'll be back for that experience. We decided to go two ways with our dinner. I chose the highly recommended short ribs and I am so glad I did! While my husband decided to make his meal like a tapas smorgasbord ordering several items from the appetizer menu to make his meal. Check out our photos. The short ribs were a delight, so tender and covered in a tantalizing gravy, set atop a gorgonzola cheese-infused mashed potato taste feast...the green beans were perfectly cooked and served to make the dish look artful as well as tasty! The best meal, in my opinion! My husband ordered the edamame guacamole and the gourmet-styled, crab-topped deviled eggs for our appetizers, YUM As we were finishing our noshes of delight, our meals arrived: batter-fried calamari, a side of gorgonzola mashed potatoes & a side of my hubby's favorite: Brussel sprouts. Of course, that's the same time my short ribs arrived! Excellent timing. I even shared my dish with my hubs! We finished off our meal with a raspberry sorbet for me and a cow-pie scoop of ice cream for the hubs! An amazing happy ending treat! The raspberry sorbet had their signature use of Jam-infused delight in it's texture. It was a tasty, chill sensation! I felt like a kid! Hubby had his favorite, a peanut buttery chocolate scoop of that cow-pie! Delish all around! The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive from the bar & host areas to the dining room! From what I understand there are more staff and happy more attentive employees now! Make sure you visit the bar for drinks upstairs before the dining room opens and journey downstairs for dinner. You will be amazed! And after dinner, you can walk the beach to take in the ocean breezes and the sunset! Perfection!
