She got the steak fajitas and I got the bacon wrapped scallops. Both were delicious. The salsa and chips are home made, as well as the guacamole. All were excellent. “Came during the off-season looking for a good meal. We came for lunch and everything was amazing. The food came out so fast and was delicious. Our server James was super attentive and helpful. A must-stop, especially during the off-season when it’s calmer.”

“Have been a long term customer and will continue to be! During the week of 9/18/23 my family enjoyed 2 dinners from Rippons. 1st.dinner my wife ordered Crab cakes & I had the Softshell Crab sandwhich, BOTH were OUTSTANDING!!! 2nd. dinner we enjoyed fried oysters and 1 DZ. Med. Large Crabs. BOTH were OUTSTANDING!!! RIPPONS is the place for FRESH SEAFOOD & GREAT SERVICE!!!!”

“Food was amazing, and the menu was a nice variety! We really liked the appetizers and house specialty pork stuffed poblano peppers relenno. The service was not as attentive as one would hope with refills having to be requested after amount of time, same for the chips. Overall it was a delicious meal that I didn’t mind paying that much for.”

“Stopped in for a pizza to go. Thought the store was closed because it was quiet when I entered but I was helped very quickly and the guy taking my order was very kind.Service was great. Food was amazing. Ended up getting a supreme pizza and it fed me for 2 days. I will definitely be back. Very thankful they are open in the off-season around here.”

“I love love love this place. My go-to for breakfast is definitely the Italian Job avo toast. It is soooo good. I really like how they switch up what drinks they have to grab in the front from day to day. I recently tried the Goddess sandwich and OMG SO YUMMY. I am a pretty picky eater so I typically have to tweak my order. I get the Italian Job with no tomatoes. I get the Goddess with no tomatoes or cucumbers and I added turkey for some protein and it was so so delicious. The goddess dressing is amazing! I really like how everything is made fresh and right in front of you. The one thing I do have to say is the workers sometimes seem as if their mistake was the customers fault. The cashiers have always been nice, but I have heard other employees complaining in the back or giving somewhat snarky comments to customers when something has been made incorrectly. Still enjoy going here, just wish the employees would own their mistakes. I will still continue to come here a lot for breakfast and lunch. Food is great here!!”

“We went on an off-season Friday evening and enjoyed the tasty raw Chincoteague oysters (there were a couple of other options, but we chose the most local) and the steamer combo: steamed shrimp, clams, mussels, and oysters. I had a couple of Big Oyster beers, and the wife had cocktails. Large space with plenty of seating and an extraordinarily long bar.”
