The food was pretty good and service was fast. I like the decor too. I'd come here again, it's your typical dine in Mexican restaurant and pretty much what you would expect.
We've been going to La Quetzalteca a few times a year since we moved to Smyrna about four years ago. The food has always been good but the service has always been lacking. We probably wouldn't go out of our way to go there but we've received gift cards to go there from co-workers the past two years. The decor is over the top with lots of brightly colored paints on the walls and booths but it seems par for the course when compared to the other Mexican restaurants in Delaware.
