“The food was very good, especially if you wanted fresh seafood. They specialize in local oysters, some of the best in the country. My wife got a Philly Cheese steak, and it was one of the best. The portions were more than adequate, and the service was excellent. Also the prices were very reasonable.“

“This is a great second floor restaurant with good food and service. There is a ramp located at the end of the building if you don’t do stairs. We were greeted promptly and told we could sit anywhere. There is both indoor and outdoor dining but as it was a bit cold we chose indoors.I had the smash sliders sans bun with a side salad from the salad bar. Not a huge salad bar but adequate and everything fresh. My husband started with the fried green tomatoes. They looked excellent and I wish I could have tried them (but for the breading). He said they were tasty. He then had a flatbread pizza which he said was good but unexciting, but then he chose the boring pepperoni one instead of one of their fancier editions.A nice addition to the local restaurant scene.Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp at the end of the building.“

“Simple and tasty food - maybe a bit too simple. We went there because we saw the police eating there, that is always a good indicator. If you’re not a tourist looking for a fish, and if you don’t need fancy, but plentiful and low-cost, this is the place to go.“

“Awesome food and awesome service. We will definitely be back! We got drinks at Oyster Brewery and the walked over and ate at Tamara’s Cafe. It was wonderful walking outside to everything and the kids enjoyed themselves too! It was very nice to sit and eat while having the view next to the bay.Kid-friendliness: Stationary food truck with picnic tables and great outside atmosphere!“

“Came a little after 1 on a Wednesday- happened to be a day a storm was coming in so everyone was out and about shopping. The Owl Tap Room was busy and only had 1 server/ bartender. My sister and I had books and weren’t in a hurry but could see how someone that was could be frustrated. The food was good! Got a half. Tan dip- I typically like a hot crab dip but this was cold and very flavorful with yummy homemade tortilla chips. We had the wings breaded - worth it! And shared a the pasta carbonara with grilled shrimp. It was pretty good - large portion. Also had a side of fries - they were good but we didn’t need them and didn’t really get eaten. Chill, no rush spot. Shared a chocolate mousse cake - I wouldn’t call it a cake- it is chocolate mousse on top of a nut crumble - super rich and drizzled with chocolate and caramel I believe. It was good!“

“Beautiful old restored building, we went for an early lunch on a weekday, it was not busy. Sadly we weren't seated by a window, we were in the piano lounge near the piano and their wine room, which was nice and quiet. The gumbo was really good, big hunks of gator, whole shrimp, the broth was very flavorful. I do wish they'd used some younger okra, the piece I got in the gumbo was very hard and unable to be chewed completely. That did not discourage me from eating it all. I had the Tripletail Reuben, it was delicious. The rye was toasted and very fresh and light, the fish piece wasn't skimpy, cooked beautifully, served at the perfect temperature, the kraut not too sour and the sauce not too sweet. My husband had the fried shrimp and he said they were great. I would eat here again. But I think I'll ask for the window seat next time ?.“

“Best fried shrimp I’ve ever had! They were large and had a light batter, so you tasted shrimp not breading. The okra was fresh and hush puppies were amazing. Our servers, Theresa and Shannon, went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. You can’t beat the view either! We will definitely return!“

“Ever in East Point, drop in, especially on Friday evenings and Saturday for the live acoustic shops. We were able to catch Iron City Recording artist Dallas Wayne. He can cover some of the greats real well. Service is excellent. Bathrooms not so much.“
