“OMGrouper! The pecan crusted grouper my wife ordered was amazing. I had the island shrimp - excellent blend of flavors. The fried corn on the cob and fried green beans were great. It was a fun atmosphere. You can sit and feed the fish while you eat! Wait time was under 30 minutes in a Friday night. Fun and great food!“

“This is one of my favorite places in town I love Uncle Ernie's and when I want to show somebody a good time a beautiful view and great food I take them to Uncle Ernie's. My son even got married last week we had a small wedding and after the wedding we had to Uncle Arnie's. Uncle Ernie's is my everything restaurant“

“I sat at the counter because the place was busy and I didn't feel like trying to snag a table alone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the smoked pork chop, green beans, Mac and cheese with a side salad. The salad was huge for a side. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend stopping if you're in the neighborhood. FYI it's seat yourself and they close early (like 2:30pm.) I had a great meal and experience. Cheers!“

“Love Victoria's Chicken Salad! I always buy it in the containers at Grocery Outlet but got to finally go in to the cafe. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered gluten free bread. “1st time visiting Josiah's. I heard about Grouper throats and had to try them. They were described as big bones and big chunks of meat. That description was MOST ACCURATE with great flavor!! Oxtails were also on the menu and the owner brought me some to sample. It was tender and paired well with the rice and carrots! I also forgot to mention tje cornbread. Moist and tasty! We ordered pork chops and catfish to-go! The owner was Super Nice and attentive! If you're in the Panama City area, and want some real home cooking, you definitely need to stop by Josiah's Southern Cooking!“

“Great hidden gem. The breakfast was wonderful...especially the bacon. My husband got the full meal breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes and I got the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. It was all good and the waitress was fantastic! Definitely a good place to go!“

“The restaurant is small and tucked away right by Home Depot, but we were seated immediately and they have some nice outdoor seating as well. The food was delicious! Thick bacon, tasty pancakes, and fresh perfectly scrambled eggs. Even the cup of water was refreshing and tasted pure lol. This place was such a treat after missing breakfast at the hotel! “We’re headed back to Birmingham & my husband located this spot on google. We were greeted by our server Ultra. She was knowledgeable of the menu, had awesome recommendations for us first timers, & simply made our visit an awesome experience. The menu was simple, food was AWESOME, well seasoned, good proportions, FRESH, & delivered to car fast even with heavy traffic there.
