“Was on the hunt for lengua and tripa tacos and I came across this gem in my google searches. It is a restaurant connected to a grocery store. The restaurant is beautiful painted down to the tables and chairs! I ordered an assortment of tacos to try (carnitas, lengua, tripa, carne asada). The tripa was crispy and light. The lengua was soft and melt in mouth. The red salsa is delicious. I also had a cantaloupe agua Fresca and it was amazing! Highly recommend for authentic street tacos. Service was great. My waitress helped answer any questions I had and was attentive :)”
“This place is phenomenal. It’s been phenomenal since it opened. It’s pricey but worth it. It’s always busy here so make sure you get reservations. My favorite order is their nigiri.”
“Everyone just stands around the bar to eat. Had high hopes, but won't be going back. Not a wide variety, but for the price, it's alright for a quick bite. Got the basic 8-piece set, covers most nigiri options. My friend went for the fancier version, felt like a deluxe upgrade with lots of toppings. Sweet shrimp and scallop were tasty and fresh. Some nigiri could use more seasoning to balance the fish flavor. Maybe trying the torched nigiri with mayo would be better. Hand roll was just okay in terms of texture.”
“Hawkers is one of my favorite spots to eat, 5 stars across the board. I'm never disappointed the food is seasoned well and the employees are always working hard to cater to the customers. One of my favorite appetizers is the Roti canai a must try for anyone coming here also the Thai tea is delicious.”
“I'm sure it's a great place to eat it look like it had a great environment but apparently so popular they had no seats for at least a half a day so if you're going to go get ""reservations""”
“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."”
“Tony was absolutely amazing. We were very impressed with his service and attentiveness. As visitors, we will come back any time and seat with him. Also, the food was amazing!!! Best we’ve had in our time here.Parking: I came after 7 pm and found 6-8 parking options. If you’re patient, you’ll be fine.”
“It was our first time at Reyes Mezcaleria and it won't be our last. The food was delicious and the decor was beautiful. Chris P., was the best waiter that we've ever had. We highly recommend Reyes Me”
“Sev puri and pani puri should always have chickpeas which were missing in your offering. Falooda should be in a tall glass and shouldn't be 80 per cent a scoop of mango ice cream. Kathi roll is excellent.”
“Absolutely love this place. Make sure to request Chuy as your server, he was absolutely amazing. Attentive, kind and personable. We were celebrating a birthday and he made sure they sang happy birthday and made the experience overall pleasant. Gracias Chuy ??”
“Love this place. It's very popular at any time during the day. The bar area wraps around do you have seating on the outside looking into the restaurant or from the inside looking out with a view. Wonderful signature cocktails with beautiful garnishes. Unique menu items. My favorite was Taco shooters, don't miss the jalapeno peppers stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in bacon in their signature sauce. Excellent guacamole. Warm chips served with the best salsa! You won't be disappointed.”
“Cannot praise this place enough.Literally every single thing we ordered was outrageously good.Wish I remembered our server’s name as she was awesome. Very kind, helpful, full of recommendations.100% will come back again and again.”
“The Food: The dinner at Kaya was one of our favorite dining experiences in a long, long time. Wave after wave of meticulously assembled dishes that would rival any 5-star, white tablecloth, squads of chefs with tweezers restaurant arrive at table with the homey casualness of “Hey, look what we made for you.” The flavor profiles are perfect and sublime, and the quality of the unusual, diverse ingredients are amazing and fresh. There was not one missed note in the whole parade of dishes. The Place: The warmth and care of the staff at Kaya is extraordinary. When we opened the door, the hostess smiled the smile of someone happy to see an old friend. Our server was familiar and charming. She explained the complex dishes concisely and with an eagerness that signaled “you are gonna love this!” The whole place is a masterclass in hospitality. The set menu is the way to go. Also, upgrade to the king crab rice.”
“This is my first time visiting Otto's high dive, and it was for a work meeting. We came into the place and were immediately greeted by the owner, who went over the menu, how everything works, and explained that it was more of a shared plates type of place. There was about 12 of us in our group, so we liked the idea of that! We were quickly seated (even without the full party, which was a plus), and my boss & I had a conversation while we waited for the rest of our party. Prior to my parties arrival, they set up the table with several glasses of water several bottles to pour from silverware and topic size place we thought it was really cool that they provided all the stuff prior to the party getting here so we didn't kinda have to just sit there and wait. Once everyone in the party arrive, we took a minute to look over the menu and decided to try one of their very famous meal options, the Abundancia. Which had a fitting name! This featured several carafes of daiquiris, a four tiered seafood tower, pastelitos, ropa vieja, rice and beans, cuban bread, and flan and tres leches for dessert. There was SO MUCH FOOD! And we had a great time enjoying it. The restaurant was busy, and a little crowded, but that only added to the experience. I'll be back soon!”
“Modern omakase? Not purely Japanese, more like a chef's tasting menu. Bit rushed, there's a timer on the wall. Not many courses, incorporating some local ingredients. Two seatings: 5:30 and 8:30, seems like there are plenty of spots for the later one.”
“Grandson joined me today after talking about it for 3 weeks. One closer on Curry Ford. No the original Gma. We were not disappointed. I had brisket taco. Chips and guacamole. Grandson had carne asada, black beans, tinga.”
“We had been to this restaurant yesterday and boy it lived up to all the reviews been seeing online. We ate the mini pearl and the ham bread pudding. It was really yumm and moist unlike other savory bread puddings we have eaten before. We also tried the bakery items moon pie(just ok),crack pie was very addictive and a coconut macaroon(just ok).We would be back soon to try out more of the items on the menu. There is ample parking. We did wait in line for around 30 minutes but wasn’t bad as it wasn’t the typical Florida hot morning.”
“Thank you Nina O. For your amazing service. She walked us through the whole menu and gave wonderful suggestions. The food was incredible. Definitely one of my new spots in orlando.”
“The space is romantic, seating is important to me and it was so cozy chic. Service was incredible. Kat was our server and she was so passionate about the food and gave descriptions of the food beyond the menu. By the end she felt like a friend. The server who brought me beans and bread told me to combine the two… amazing combo. The flan is a must have. If you want to have flavor combination and food pairing you have never experienced… this place is a must.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to nuts and mango and they were very accommodating.”
“Amazing experience! The server Alyssa was amazing, all the recommendations was insanely good!We got the Aranccini, the Daviola pizza and Caccio e Pepe as a Pasta. We’re looking forward the next menu. Tks!”
“Unreal experience and EASILY the best Brazilian Steakhouse I’ve ever been too. This spot BLOWS AWAY the chains. The selection and quality of meets was 2nd to none. The game changer though was the Pineapple, WOW! I can’t believe I’m posting about Pineapple on a steakhouse page, but it was LEGIT! Keep up the great work and THANK YOU for being one of America’s Best Restaurants”
“E we had a great time at Pisco and everything was fabulous!! The food was impeccable as was the service. Gabby's recommendations were spot on and exceptional! We also met an old friend there and they were also raving about the place! We definitely will return to try many of the other things we did not!!!”
“For a small shop gotta say the warm welcome they provide was amazing. The decoration are cute, from the ice cream to the drinks are amazing. The price is fair based on the area it’s in. Highly recommend. Make the drive and see for your self.”
“it's casual cafe but love their foods... Starting with papaya salad and Tom Kha, a coconut milk soup that you can add any protein. I like it as it's full flavor but not heavy... Their seasoned fried fish is my favorite too along with fried rice. Grilled squid, sometimes a bit over cooked, so make it chewy...dessert, if you like sticky rice and durian, they have a good one”
“Will recommend VIDA Cocina & Tequila and our waiter Esteban. Esteban was very attentive and professional. The drinks and food were amazing, especially the Culichi sushi. We will definitely be back soon!”
“Let's just say it's a Japanese restaurant with a Filipino dessert twist. Seems like they offer dessert tasting/bento that's worth trying. Didn't realize this place was already a hidden gem in Orlando.”
“Joseph was amazing….super attentive and energetic!!! We had a great experience here and will be back looking for Joseph. Food was amazing…Ambiance was great…definitely recommend!!!”
“I’m in love. This is already on my list of go-to places in Central Florida. There is so much to love about Haan Coffee: from the ultra-trendy setup, to the Uber-friendly staff (I’ve met Albert, Coby, Gabriella, Hong, Josh, Kenny, Semie, and Victoria and they are all so helpful and kind), to the bright lighting, to the hip decor, to the sweet swag, this place oozes cool vibes. Of course, the food and drinks are what keep me coming back. I’ve tried several of their drinks and my favorites (five-way tie for first place) are the cold crew crème top, SJ latte, Seoul iced Coffee, strawberry milk, and the iced yuja. There’s one made with tonic that I thought was very interesting that my friends said was their fave. Food-wise, I loved the sweet and salty garlic butter bread and the croiffles. So good. I get happy thoughts thinking about them. If I didn’t live 30 minutes away, I’d be there every day. I’m so glad for the addition of Haan to the amazing coffeehouses in the City Beautiful!”
“My GF and I found this place on Google. The reviews were great and it didn’t disappoint. Some of the best Turkish food we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious. Hot from the kitchen. Flavor in taste. Big portions. Friendly great service. We will 100% be coming back.”
