“To order more than one course and have it come out at the appropriate time at this particular restaurant sad to say, you must order your appetizer, consume your appetizer, call the waitress over order, a salad or soup if you wish consume your salad or soup call the waitress over-and order your entrée, I have no idea what they have for desert? Food is great. Server needs a little guidance for a complete dining experience. We dined in this was our 2nd experience with the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Veggie rolls peanut sauce upon requestBeet salad non msg unless it’s a sauce they don’t make .Dietary restrictions: Arrived with a allergic reaction to pineapple and was presented with good options. I didn’t get to eat them all because all the food was brought out at once right after appetizer salad, and course and appetizer all at once.Kid-friendliness: Probably only room for well-behaved children since the isles are not very wide and children should be well behaved. “Love the quality and value of this place! The staff is great and very attentive. I try and go anytime I'm in Lk Wales. The manager Xristos is a great reflection of the type of staff that works here. Him and his staff are always smiling anytime you walk in the door. Being greeted with a smiling staff is very refreshing. If you go, ask for Amber! She is an amazing server and was very polite and on top of her game. Keep up the great work, I will return again soon :)”

“Had breakfast there this morning with a friend. Had the Colorado omelette with a pancake, trying to get a good breadth of their taste, since it was my first time there. It was delicious! The flavor was deep and cared for, not bland. The pancake was thick and moist and everything tasted great. The environment was quiet, which was perfect for today’s chat. I’m sure it’ll get louder once people realize how good this place is. Check it out!”

“Pretty good sandwich, tried the coleslaw from someone else’s review it’s pretty good the inside looks nice here is what I will say. I think the price is a little steep for what it was ($17) however I will still come back people who write bad reviews because of price make me unhappy because the quality of the food or the service to its customers has nothing to do with price (see above food quality service to customers and atmosphere) I don’t go around writing 1 star reviews to Gordon Ramsey restaurant because it’s overpriced but I would complain if the (quality) was not on par with price. “This place is worth it!! We stopped by here on the way home from Bok Towers and it did not disappoint! Theres a lot of construction in the downtown area but please don’t let that deter you! This is cream is made with nitrogen and taste homemade! We ordered the dairy free option and it was made with oat milk- no extra charge! The people working there were so sweet to my family.Please give this business a chance! It’s worth it ?? ?”

“Amazing spot! I live 45 mins away, but I'll definitely be back! Nicest staff I've ever met, owner was there busing tables, delivering drinks, talking to everyone in the place, so great! “The inside is really cute. It has reclaimed wood on the walls and a cement floor that has been stained a light brown. There is a nice mural of cows in a field on one wall. When we walked in we were promptly greeted and told to sit anywhere. The server came right over and brought menus and took our drink order. I ordered a coffee stout. I usually find stouts to be bitter however this one was very smooth and tasty. The Cuban was very good with a hint of bbq sauce on it and the BLT was on sourdough and loaded with bacon. It was all warm and fresh. Really great place for lunch. Looking forward to trying their breakfast next time.”

They even called a day early to reconfirm the details to ensure my order was correct. The cake was beautiful and delicious! People at my party wanted to know where I got it! “I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.”

“For real! Jamaican food, my husband had the oxtail with rice and peas and cooked cabbage. (of course I had to try some... nummmmy) He really enjoyed his meal. I had the curried chicken, rice and peas and cabbage, also to die for! A must stop! I must say it is Jamaican home cooking! Delicious! For Real!”
