“This place is off the charts don’t let the outside fool you it is amazing. Try the Barbacoa tacos and the asada torta. The tamarindo agua is sooooo good. I’m Hispanic and this place was amazing. Picture of my mom enjoying the food she’s a hella hard critic and she even loved it.”

“We’ve been here about 6 times for lunch during our stay in Florida. The loaded pork BBQ tater tots are beyond delicious (get the cheese on the side)-and it’s enough for 2 servings! My husband said BBQ brisket quesadilla is his fav (the photo shows the sandwich). The sweet tea is super sweet! The owner is usually walking around checking on customers which is a nice touch. If you only go to Eagle Lake for this place it’s worth the drive. And buy a bottle (or 3 ?) of the sweet BBQ sauce to take home!”

“My wife and I just woke up and were starving. We were waiting at the front door, hoping to get it before the doors open when we greeted by Lala who was very friendly. We ordered coffee which came out pretty quick, but unfortunately was a little bit cooler than I would've liked. That was OK though because when the food came out, it made up for it. I ordered the heavenly biscuit which came with meatless sausage, grilled vegetables, mayo, and maybe something else I can't remember. It was absolutely delicious, I devoured it very quickly. I wish it would've been a little bit bigger but for $12 I think it was well worth it. I would love to go back. Try some more their healthy food. Lala was so helpful and accommodating, we are hoping that her business thrives so we can come back to visit in the future. I really like to try some of their sweets as well!”

“So glad to have this place. Not only is the food amazing, the service and people are too. Everyone is treated like family and friends. Weekday activities like Thursday singo, live bands on the weekends...they try to involve everyone and involve the community with events with the Auburndale PD.Vegetarian options: There are a few options for vegetarians”

“Love the quality and value of this place! The staff is great and very attentive. I try and go anytime I'm in Lk Wales. The manager Xristos is a great reflection of the type of staff that works here. Him and his staff are always smiling anytime you walk in the door. Being greeted with a smiling staff is very refreshing. If you go, ask for Amber! She is an amazing server and was very polite and on top of her game. Keep up the great work, I will return again soon :)”

“To order more than one course and have it come out at the appropriate time at this particular restaurant sad to say, you must order your appetizer, consume your appetizer, call the waitress over order, a salad or soup if you wish consume your salad or soup call the waitress over-and order your entrée, I have no idea what they have for desert? Food is great. Server needs a little guidance for a complete dining experience. We dined in this was our 2nd experience with the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Veggie rolls peanut sauce upon requestBeet salad non msg unless it’s a sauce they don’t make .Dietary restrictions: Arrived with a allergic reaction to pineapple and was presented with good options. I didn’t get to eat them all because all the food was brought out at once right after appetizer salad, and course and appetizer all at once.Kid-friendliness: Probably only room for well-behaved children since the isles are not very wide and children should be well behaved. This one will make it echo and make it for all night if you bring child”

“The best Jamaican restaurant I’ve been in a while. Very consistent, amazing customer service, the ox tail plate is my favorite along with the family that’s in there. Eat here at least 3 times a week. Highly recommend.”

Lamb Chops were not great but they were good !! Delicious lobster special. Pianist Christopher played beautifully which made the experience even better.”

“A nice little restaurant right on the lake. The food was excellent. We had steak, shrimp, lobster, meatballs and fish tacos. Afterwards there was a very, very good key lime pie.Were there a second time. Again we ate very well, the staff is really friendly, on their toes and very helpful with the kids.Great view of the lake directly behind the restaurant.”

“Very good and wide selection of Dominican/Hispanic cuisine. The seating is nice and the service is easy and made to order. I always go for the Fried Pork with Tostones and Salad. Portions are very generous and very delicious. Would recommend!Very good selection of Bori/Dominican food. There are good spaces to sit and eat. The area is very pleasant and the service is excellent. My favorite dish is fried meat with tostones and salad. They have very good portions and have very good seasoning. “I flew here for a golf tournament and had to come here twice because the ice cream was so good. They’re very generous with their scoops and provide free samples. I love the expresso chip, strawberry cheesecake and Cupid’s love potion (it’s raspberry and brownie) flavors!! I really recommend bringing your friends here!!”

“Had breakfast there this morning with a friend. Had the Colorado omelette with a pancake, trying to get a good breadth of their taste, since it was my first time there. It was delicious! The flavor was deep and cared for, not bland. The pancake was thick and moist and everything tasted great. The environment was quiet, which was perfect for today’s chat. I’m sure it’ll get louder once people realize how good this place is. Check it out!”

I think the price is a little steep for what it was ($17) however I will still come back people who write bad reviews because of price make me unhappy because the quality of the food or the service to its customers has nothing to do with price (see above food quality service to customers and atmosphere) I don’t go around writing 1 star reviews to Gordon Ramsey restaurant because it’s overpriced but I would complain if the (quality) was not on par with price. “This place has the best birria ramen I've had in awhile. The drive is definitely worth it! Price is decent. The aqua fresca drinks are delicious. I had the watermelon sincec they were out for the other flavors but it was so good! I live in Lakeland but driving there is definitely worth it. The people there are very friendly and nice. It doesn't take long to make the orders either. It's located right outside a gas station. They don't have much for seating though so definitely plan to either eat it in the car or take home. I think they have like 1 table and a few chairs which is totally fine because the food was delicious!”
