Me and my wife came to the Delray Beach area for our honey and quickly looked for a quick bite to eat after swimming in the beach. We found this spot by pure coincidence and we are lucky we had. This is the best Italian bakery I have ever been too. Mind you, we are from Washington DC. I've been to Italian bakeries in New York, Boston, New Jersey, DC, VA, MD but nothing has compared to this place. After our number 2 and 3 sandwiches on freshly baked croissant bread, illy coffee, some pastries, I had to talk to the owner and find out what was the deal with the amazing place. This is a family owned business and they are from Italy and this spot has been open for 1 year now. After our amazing lunch, I had to get a box of pastries to go. I can't recommend this place enough!

Tried a bunch of pastries at a party and was blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was. Online it says they open at 10, closed Mondays. Drove 25 minutes out of my way to get some sweets and they were closed at 10:45 on Tuesday. Door sign says they are only open Tuesday-Thursday 11-5. Called both locations, barely got someone on the phone. Waited until 11:15 and someone finally showed up, in no rush to help their 4 customers waiting outside. Call before you go. Seems like their East location is more accessible but too far for me.

In this day and age of fast everything it has been like finding hidden treasure. Real delicious handmade pastries... just wonderful. I do not know how to explain the tastebud explosion of freshly made pastries light delicate with sprinkling of powder sugar, fillings that are fruit filled. You can taste the lack of shortcuts. It takes me back to old style authentic baked goods done with care, love, unspoiled.... before big stores and convenience took over.... this is GOURMET. No other explanation. ...taste is real by real culinary artists ...such delicious pastries, croissants.... you want to eat authentic Italian that makes you feel like you are not in south florida, in the USA but on vacation in Italy?... go to this place. Incredible.

Figured after all the amazing reviews I had to try this place. Greeted as soon as I walked in, the pastries and croissants were huge! I chose to go with the Parma Prosciutto on a fresh croissant. The gentleman actually takes pride in his art, not a thrown together sandwich like you usually get. The best I can say is you have to go and experience this bakery. I believe in supporting small businesses.

Oh what a crap. We went to buy some desserts in the evening. Not sure if they had sold all the good ones. Whatever we got was tasteless. Publix is far better in desserts. Nothing special about this

This is an excellent bakery! Easily the finest croissant I have had in 20 years. Excellent cookies and other pastries, plus wonderful friendly counter service. Wish I lived in Boca, I would be here every day.

This place is really great because not only are the desserts amazing but the individuals who helped me were really nice and patient despite being very busy! I asked them to put together a nice package of baked goods for my mom's bday and they went the extra mile with the ribbon and fast service. Grazie mille!
Cute little Italian bakery. Couple tables outside for seating. Hot coffee, cappuccino and espresso. Would prefer iced coffee in Florida heat. Everything is baked and made from scratch. Cannoli was unreal! They opened another location in East Delray. Thank you Italian baker man for a little taste of Italy :)

If I could rate Grelma with 10 stars I would. Everything they make is fresh and from scratch, the croissants are amazing and the focaccia pizza is fantastic. The owners are great people, always a great experience every time I go.

We went with the idea of having a Sunday breakfast, a coffee and something else… but the size of or sandwich croissant was massive, filled with tons of cheese, ham, tomato and eggs. Was delicious impossible to stop eating it, we are definitely good for the day.We tried a dulce de leche tart as well that melted in our mouth.
