“The NY Pizza Place”, formerly known Manhattan Joe’s is located in Mission Bay Plaza. It is a cozy pizza shop that offers a simple one-page menu. You won't find any soup or eggplant on the menu; however, they serve basic pizzas, subs, calzones, wings, pasta, chicken parm, a few different salads, and you can even order pizza by the slice. I've been to this location several times when it was Manhattan Joe's. I had always enjoyed it but you can see the new owners have put effort into improving the restaurant. Pizza was excellent. I thought it was as good if not better than when it was Manhattan Joe's. Staff was very friendly. I enjoyed lunch very much and will definitely return.
