I've been to this location several times when it was Manhattan Joe's. I had always enjoyed it but you can see the new owners have put effort into improving the restaurant. Pizza was excellent. I thought it was as good if not better than when it was Manhattan Joe's. Staff was very friendly. I enjoyed lunch very much and will definitely return.

“The NY Pizza Place”, formerly known Manhattan Joe’s is located in Mission Bay Plaza. It is a cozy pizza shop that offers a simple one-page menu. You won't find any soup or eggplant on the menu; however, they serve basic pizzas, subs, calzones, wings, pasta, chicken parm, a few different salads, and you can even order pizza by the slice. The slices are generously sized, and the pizzas are competently made using basic steel deck ovens. Rachel ordered a half meatball sub which was decent. The meatballs had a strong oregano flavor and a good balance of filler to meat. If you're looking for a quick and affordable meal in that plaza, NY Pizza is a good option. There are other comparable slice pizza joints in the immediate area such as Aunt Lulu’s, Rotelli's, and Brooklyn Boys (and also the trendy and fancy Neapolitan-esque Mister 01 in the same plaza) so it wouldn't be fair to call it a destination pizza by any means, but I've certainly had much worse than this.

This was my first time visiting NY pizza place, they were very welcoming, i browsed thru thr menu and i decided to go with the Buffalo chicken wings, I picked a winner!!! they were some of the best wings I've had, and the garlic knots were super good too. definitely coming bavk eith friends over the

Born and raised in Bklyn but have lived in Boca for 20years. This pizza is everything you miss for back home. Not fancy and over priced like most spots. And it’s the size of a freakin dinner plate, when you fold it, it gives you the salute- if you know , you know. Fuggettaboutit.The crispness and flavor are really like back home. Took me back to being a kid going w/ my Pop to an Arcade in Twin Tower’s underground mall. The pizza from there was just as huge and delicious. If you like Nepoliese style pizza like me ask for it well done. If you don’t know what that is don’t you’ll just think it’s burnt. Finally a neighborhood spot for all of us transplanted Nyers to enjoy a slice and reminisce on the good ol’ days! This is truly NY Pizza Spot here in (West) Boca.
