“Let's see....a word to describe this place: FANTASTIC! Waffle Monkey was highly recommended by some people we had met on a tour and decided to try it out. Easily the best waffle I've ever had! If you are in Tamarindo, it is not an option. You HAVE to go. Your belly will thank me later. They also have the best waitstaff of almost any place I'd been to during my stay. The owner was incredibly nice and the beach view from their outside seating area was lovely. I only wish I had found them earlier in my trip!“

“This was a pick-up order Calzones were delicious. One plain and the other meatball and pepperoni. Hot wings tasted mild. We also ordered mild wings and you can see the color difference. The cinnamon sticks were horrible. Hard as a rock. Overcooked.“

“We had another delicious and fun Spanish themed paella dinner party at home with friends, thanks to Chef Kristin and her staff at BCN Paellas. The paella was delicious and it's so beautifully presented in the pan! We had the chocolate filled beignets for dessert. So good! Thanks Chef! We look forward to our next paella party.“
“Friendly, outgoing staff took the time to listen to each customer no matter their age? We got the 10 piece key lime pie bites. They come frozen and dipped in chocolate and straight from heaven. The raspberry cheesecake ice cream was also amazing and they are very generous with their serving size. Plenty of seating inside or out. 10/10“
“This restaurant has a simple, clean, cheerful atmosphere and with a beautiful view, you can eat inside with air conditioning or outside in the open air. The food was delicious, we had a basket of fish and fresh oysters! Excellent service, clean site and competitive prices. I recommend it to you!“
“Delicious!! After my 3rd visit I can confirm this is a new hidden gem! The food was amazing, from the mussels and calamari appetizers to the bolognese and veal francese entrees everything has consistently been amazing. This time we ended with the rice pudding, my mouth is still watering!!They also have a really unique cocktail list that I will happily be revisiting soon!We were fortunate enough to meet the owners, Omar and Ali. It is clear why these two went into the business! Their food and service speak for themselves, but these two gentlemen could not have been more hospitable. Me and my family are from Indiana and stopped here today on vacation, and I can safely say this is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. “This restaurant was very busy, there was a wait, however we opted to sit at the counter which sits 14 people. We had a waitress who was efficient and made sure everyone was well taken care of. The food was awesome and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food they give you. You also get your own pot of coffee to serve yourself as you go. We sat with people from Florida, Maine, Indiana, and Minnesota. It was amazing to have a conversation with all these nice people over breakfast. I would recommend you try this restaurant if you ever get the chance.“
“Sunday night at 5:30 in early April. We accompanied friends who drove and understood the deal regarding valet parking. We waited a good 15 minutes on the street just to get in the parking lot. I have to say the 2 valet guys stole the show. Super organized and kept great tabs on who got in and in what order. Definitely worth a good tip. We were seated fast upstairs as we requested. We waited 10 minutes for server to come to the table. The drinks did come fast though; the bartenders were very efficient. My clam chowder was served first and it was ok. The pizza and shrimp tacos were very good but the chicken tenders were a little overly cooked crispy. We waited a good 10-15 for our check. Beautiful setting on the beach which other than the valets was a huge plus. I will continue to come to Docs.“

“A bit of the beaten path, but it is well worth it. Great beer selection, friendly staff, and a nice brewpub environment. The food truck on our Friday night, Sabi Wabi, was outstanding, and the live entertainment was great and perfect for the space. Highly recommended.“
“Finally !!! We were excited to find legitimate NY pizza. Very good crust and sauce. I enjoyed the veggie and my wife had the calzone. The staff is very friendly and Jackson took care of us. It's a comfortable pizza shop with excellent pie. And now, it's our go to for pizza.“
“NBCC is a phenomenal restaurant with a great menu and great beer selection. The hot wings are excellent, the best in the area! Quick and great service stood out to me when dining here. Also kid friendly and easily accessible, accommodating with strollers.“
“This is a decent little watering hole or place to grab a bite on the way home from the beach (beer and wine) . The couple times I have been was evening time and the majority crowd was people in their their 50s-60s. The service is great and the atmosphere is pretty laid back with live music on most weekends. They also serve food but I haven't tried it yet“
“This establishment absolutely gets it. From the moment you are seated to the moment you leave you feel like you are the only person in the restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. Especially the mussels. They were the most tender, tasty mussels I have ever had. There are so many things on the menu. It is almost impossible to pick one entrée. Highly highly recommend it.
