“Sarasota and Manatee have a serious lack of small venues for local and traveling bands, artists, etc. I am so thrilled to have Oscura exists. They constantly have great shows and events, including those for local residents to perform with open mics and poetry reading. Also, the drink menu is carefully and thoughtfully curated. The coffee is fantastic. The cocktails are fun and delicious. The non-alcoholic options are more extensive than anywhere I’ve been in our area. I absolutely love checking out shows here. In my hometown up north, there was a local or traveling bands playing original music somewhere nearly every night of the week and I’m from a town of 100k. Oscura brings me back to those days and the vibes are immaculate.“

“Biker bar located off of 9th St W in Bradenton. Just what you'd be looking for in a good dive - super friendly patrons, really cold beer and a nice dark place to just hang out. Beers are mostly $3-$4 (no liquor here). No food served, but they've got local places that come around for BBQ/food stops out back - check their Facebook page.“
“My favorite bar is Sarasota/Bradenton. The food reminds me of back home in Pennsylvania. The people remind me of a combination of the best people from the Eagles, Moose, and Elks combined with a family reunion of my favorite family members. I love this place.“

“You know I have NOTHING bad to say about this jawn. We came in here looking to grab a "last"drink after leaving the Zac Brown concert in Tampa and this was in route (home). The bar keeps were friendly, had a good sense of humor and the drinks were good & cheap! They've got the Touchtunes jukebox so you can play DJ at your leasure, plenty of Pool tables and Dart games all around. It's definitely a dive, but one I'd go back to for sure! Did not have a chance to try the food, but heard it was good.Parking: The parking lot infront of the bar is rather small, but we parked in the lot right next to it (attached almost) and it was fine, there may be parking around back as well, so it shouldn't be a problem“
“Lunch there was very good. There is an extensive seafood menu with other options as well. I had the cobia tacos and my friend had the cobia sandwich. She has eaten there many times and said the food is always good especially the fish and chips and everyone loves the chowder. Oysters on the half shell looked delicious. I will go back soon.“

“They have a food truck in the back. Our lunch plans fell through and a friend and I ended up here. We don't drink and we're happy to discover they served food. We tried the Korean BBQ steak tacos- yummy and crispy, 4 small, nice for a shared appetizer. And the chicken lettuce wraps- light, fresh and a little spicy, 3 wrap's appetizer sized. We didn't order enough food but what we ordered was very good.“

“Food was amazing! Service 9/10. Arrived shortly before closing. We were hesitant to order because the first thing the greeter did was stare at his watch. He then said the kitchen closes in 10 minutes, before seating us. We ordered right away. The food was prepared promptly and service from there was good. This was our first visit which is so key ? to future consideration. Hope they are consistent. This will be one of our regular spots!“

“Excellent service,good food and great view from the deck.My elderly mother passed out on the way out of the restaurant. The manager and her wait staff were very helpful during this emergency. After the manager called 911 for us, she helped with the 9 month old baby in our party while I helped my mother. She stuck with us until the ambulance arrived. The staff were also clam and helpful with comfort measures like ice and cold cloths. Me and my family were grateful for their assistance in our time of need.Wheelchair accessibility: Two long ramps. “We tried Vernona Gourmet - Authentic Hungarian Restaurant earlier this week and we were very impressed and happy with the whole experience. Definitely in the rotation now. I have a new favorite comfort food now too - chicken paprikash - yum!!“
