“Stopped with Mrs. Today, for a quick dinner.I had the pot pie special, and the Mrs had a gyro.The pot pie was really loaded with chicken and veggies, just as I had hoped it would be. Served very hot! I thought that it could have had a little more flavor. The crust was kinda dry, not flakey at all. It was something I would consider ordering again.The Mrs gyro was rated as simply good. The pasta salad was also ok.The restaurant was very clean.We need to come back and try the ribs and flame broiled chicken.“

“We've been coming to Basil's for over 30 years. There are a few locations in Bradenton and 1 in Sarasota and over the thousands of times we've eaten at Basil's, I would say there are only a few times where maybe the chicken was dry or we were not satisfied. It is a great family owned local restaurant with flavorful flame broiled chicken and the sides are great. I always get Mashed potatoes and gravy and hubby always gets Mac n Cheese. He loves the chicken salad on a pita.“
“Stopped at Zaxby's for a quick bit. Pleasantly surprised by how clean and well designed the interior of the restaurant was. The staff was all friendly and helpful. Tried their new Asian Zalad and it was really good. Not sure if it's a limited time offer so it may go away The sauce that put on it was really sweet and delicious. Overall a great fast food experience and I know they are known for their chicken tenders, wings and sandwiches but try the salad if you want an alternative to their traditional menu items. Bonus: they have funnel cakes now so if you're a fan of that it's worth a try.“
