I wasn't sure about this restaurant when I first pulled up, looks kind of sus from the outside. The food was pretty good, prices are zesty but I don't mind paying for quality. Love the brisket and the sweet potato casserole but the chicken sandwich was dry and the fried biscuits were so salty they were almost inedible. It would have been nice to dine in but I took mine to go, just wasn't the kind of place I'd sit and have a meal. Still worth checking out if you are in the Brooksville...read full review
First time here and it was awesome. Great service and great food. And cornhole and connect four and other kids games outside for the kidsKid-friendliness: Kid outside games and they are very kid friendly

We just left Deep South FamilyBBQ. The food was excellent. For a small restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that each course came out when needed and everything was hot, not spicy hot. That is the first time we have encountered that in Florida. Fried green tomatoes were perfect, the ribs were moist, the sides were like homemade, and the fried peach pie was to die for… We will be back.
