Service was very sub standard. Had to ask twice for silverware after appetizer had been delivered. Drinks were not delivered and had to ask second time for them and then received wrong drink. No one checked on us until we were ready for bill. Bill reflected prices higher than what is on menu. Only positive aspect is convenience if staying on property. Not sure why anyone would eat here otherwise.

We arrived at Tween Waters pretty late and we were happy that the Shipyard was still open. Frank was our server and was excellent. We ordered the ceviche for an appetizer and it was excellent! We both then ordered the grilled grouper sandwich and it was very good as well. It suffered by comparison to Lazy Flamingo's Mesquite grilled grouper sandwich but it's still a great sandwich.

Our server was indifferent, rude, and minimally helpful. The food was terrible. Party of five, five different entrées, none of them done even close to adequate. Go somewhere else.

Quality food that came out quickly. Evening hostess contributed to maybe one of the worst dinning experiences of the last year. However, the wait staff, chefs, and cooks did a great job during our stay.

We were excited to come here to see what they had done - we have been coming to the island for 40-years. Great decor and they kept the bar the same as when it was Crow's Nest. The service was very good but the food was mediocre at best. We got the BBQ chips which we thought were over seasoned. My wife ordered the Thai Salad and for the first time ever actually returned it and got the Patty Melt which was OK. The fries were great! I got the grouper sandwich which tasted OK but came to the table soggy. Key Lime pie was good. It's disappointing as we were hoping that the food was going to be good. We will try it again but stick to burgers and pizza

Good food and good service. We had dinner at the shipyard tonight, it used to be the crows nest, and I was been renamed. It has good, basic seafood. We started with a good salad and a delicious appetizer called drunken shrimp, which is shrimp steamed in beer and served in a tomato garlic, sweet and sour Sauce with garlic. Delicious! Then we had a very good grilled salmon, with sesame, soy honey glaze and a peanut coleslaw. I had a decent crabcake with coleslaw and coconut rice. All in all, a nice meal. Service was good.

Atmosphere was a little off for us but can see the appeal for a great lunch spot! Food was just okay in our opinion a ton of things on the online menu not included on the menu when we went. Additionally, went with multiple kids at 7:45 and they had run out of fries. We had a key lime martini and was not good. Our server was nice and attentive however, we ordered kids food about 20 minutes from adult meals so that we could feed our 17 month old first then eat our meals and they all came out together. Will be back to give it another try.

We had great service from Amanda and Chas! They were both very friendly and added to the dinner experience. The Food was great, the Grouper sandwich was delicious! The carrot cake was moist and very tasty. What we really missed was the entertainment. We've come to Captiva for Christmas for many years and loved coming to what used to be called the Crow's Nest (now the Shipyard) with the family for dinner and to watch the evening entertainment. We were very disappointed to learn that entertainment isn't available anymore. It's too bad that this wasn't considered when the 2nd floor addition was designed. The Galtin Christmas shows at 'Tween Waters are one of our favorite Captiva memories! I hope that they can get this changed in the future! We also miss the crackle of the old stone fireplace.

Your menu changed drastically and that’s why the 3 stars walked out after expecting. The whole fried fish. It was only a party of 8 but we won’t come back, and just go to Dixie Fish company. Where they always have it. I get you may not sell it frequently but filet it and make a dish like everyone else does. This resident won’t be back. I can say food is good since the change of chief it used to be awful. Very disappointing though. Sorry corporate made that change.

This place was packed last weekend, and they were very short staffed. Sara, our waitress really stepped it up and was single handedly waiting on half the restaurant! I just want to give her a shoutout, she was really working her tail off and did the best job she could under the circumstances! Thank you for great service!
