Quality food that came out quickly. Evening hostess contributed to maybe one of the worst dinning experiences of the last year. However, the wait staff, chefs, and cooks did a great job during our stay.
We had great service from Amanda and Chas! They were both very friendly and added to the dinner experience. The Food was great, the Grouper sandwich was delicious! The carrot cake was moist and very tasty.What we really missed was the entertainment. We've come to Captiva for Christmas for many years and loved coming to what used to be called the Crow's Nest (now the Shipyard) with the family for dinner and to watch the evening entertainment. We arrived at Tween Waters pretty late and we were happy that the Shipyard was still open. Frank was our server and was excellent. We ordered the ceviche for an appetizer and it was excellent! We both then ordered the grilled grouper sandwich and it was very good as well. It suffered by comparison to Lazy Flamingo's Mesquite grilled grouper sandwich but it's still a great sandwich.
