Service was excellent. From initial greeting by hostess to wait staff attention. Just right, not too much. Only complaint was the cloudy weather. We will have to come back on a sunny evening at the bar. Many thanks

Good atmosphere. The 2 stars is for a couple reasons. The food came out warm. Had the filet and lobster and both were slightly above room temp. The biggest gripe I had was that they have no kids menu and wouldn’t accommodate anything off the menu - like grilled cheese.I recommend cielo.

The food and service were very good. The selection of entrees was good, but really doesn't distinguish itself from the Tween Waters Resort other restaurant, Old Captiva House. Old Captiva House is still my favorite restaurant on this property.

Had oysters on half shell. Sweet and fresh as the sea. Ceasar salad. Said it had anchovies but didn't see any. Was good and crunchy. Had 14 oz bone-in filet that my husband and I split. Excellent piece of meat. Food was appropriately served. No rush. Just great timing. Carrot cake for dessert. A dense cake. Delicious, but I prefer a lighter cake. Left there pleasantly satisfied. Bit of a food snob...I recommend this place.

Cecilia and Steve are the best waiters. The bartender Michael makes the best cocktails. The steak and seafood are delicious. Definitely would go again. Key lime pie is the best on the island. Great window to watch the sunset from.

I was at Tween Waters as part of a group of 50 people back in January. 2 nights in a row (once at Crow's Nest and the other at the adjoining restaurant), the hostess was the rudest host I have ever encountered in all my years of traveling. We I asked our server if the hostess was the owner (thinking that was the only way she could have that job), she replied no but she is getting better. Our server was fabulous but the host was not only rude to our party but everyone that came through the front door.I have never left a negative review but this was the worst experience I have ever had with someone "greeting" us when we walked in for our reservations.

Contrary to other reviews, We found the Crows Nest to be likely the best dining experience on both Sanibel and Captiva islands. Nary a deep fried entree to be found. (Yeah!) A spectacular view and attentive service. It's billed as a steakhouse so you won't find chicken or pasta on the menu. The ceviche was flavorful with just a hint of spice, the filet was fork tender, juicy and tasty, the WAGU burger was prepared perfectly and will be remembered as a benchmark to attain. The Pork chop was double cut and the roasted apples were an excellent highlight. The sides of truffle Parmesan fries, shaved Brussel sprouts and vegetable risotto stood on their own. Key lime pie was better than Grandma Dots. If there is any negative it would be the wine list that is (like most of Florida) lacking the variety we become used to on the west coast. If you are looking for a new treat, give The Crows Nest a try.

A pleasant ambiance and good food is marred by sub-par, understaffed service. Bartender attention is nonexistent, suggesting that the bar is expressly for additional food service seating and not for drink ordering; if so, this ought to be communicated somehow. First courses 'way too slow in coming. This was our third visit and each time we hope for better from this promising new venue.

The waiter didn't greet us and when we placed our order he forgot our appetizer as our entrees were delivered. Our water wasn't being refilled either. I would recommend more training on the service as your prices should have 5 star service. We were the first people to be seated and the first ones to leave the restaurant spending over 200 dollars on food. We were only their 45 minutes so the quality of service should have been there.

Our server was great but unfortunately the food wasn't great we had been several times in the past. It had been 3 months since our last visit food definitely wasn't the same

We were excited to be trying The Crow's Nest Dteakhouse at Tween Waters Inn & Spa, the newest restaurant at the hotel we've been coming to for several years, minus the 4 years since the Covid pandemic began. It was lovely & the sunset didn't disappoint. The best part...no no-see'ums!? My husband's rib-eye, (he said) was excellent, as was his ‘creamed' spinach, which we felt wasn't really creamed spinach, but more like ‘leaf' spinach with a delicious array of cheeses on top and IN. Yummy. I ordered the vegan delight, since I'm not a big meat eater. I had had it at Old Captiva House last week and LOVED it. So truth-be-told, the coconut rice was undercooked. This staff was amazing and offered to make it right. And they DID. They couldn't do enough for us...so I didn't hesitated to give them five stars in every category. Definitely check this restaurant out! But make reservations!! (unless perhaps you plan to sit at the bar.)

Very Limited Parking! Beautiful newly created dining space ~ Well done! Busy night and quite loud. Reservations definitely needed. Creative cocktails & wine list. Pretzel rolls and dipping oil great. Steaks were perfect! Wedge salad left a lot to the imagination. The sides *mixed mushrooms" and the sauces for the steaks were delicious. Staff was working very hard. A few tweaks and it could be amazing. Would love to have had a fresh fish option (other than salmon). At the end of the evening, our server shared that parking ramp in being built!

My husband and I are staying at ‘Tween Waters' for the first time. We were pleased with the complimentary gift cards the resort gave us at check in. The restaurant prices are high but not outrageous. We had a great meal including raw oysters, a fantastic sharing of a Brussels sprouts side dish. My rack of lamb was superb; my husband's filet perfect. We never order dessert but did....the carrot cake was very unusual, but delicious. The crème brûlée was very fine.

Beautiful setting to watch sunset. Food was average and very expensive. Our waiter and bartender were great. Restaurant needs to pay more attention to details like removing empty wine bottles from table, removing used plates, etc. Hostess at front desk was borderline rude and so was the guy that tried to seat us at a table that was practically in front of the stairwell. I'd go back for a cocktail to watch sunset but probably won't go back for dinner. I was disappointed because I had been so looking forward to going there.

The menu offerings and pricing are on par with the Chicago-steakhouse experience. Sadly the service (unwilling to slice the steak in the kitchen for table-side sharing) and the quality of the food did not live up to the price point. The setting is lovely and the front-of-house staff were friendly and attentive.
