What a great time we had, lunch every day and the Chef prepared a special meal by order too. It was handy to not have to cook and have such a nice meal. Dan made great cocktails and all the servers were so friendly. A great fun atmosphere.

I guess if you are young and foolish you might like this place. It took forever to place our order. The food and service wasn't great. I was over charged twice for my drinks. They took it upon themselves to put a 20% tip on my bill. Think twice before you go there.

The food was very good! The atmosphere was ok. It was neat coming by boat and navigating the very tight canal. Boat parking was confusing. But we determined even though it is posted "Private Parking", that you could park anywhere. The staff was overwhelmed by patrons and service is reallllllllly slow. Plan on waiting for a table and waiting on your order being taken (1hour) and food delivery for at least an hour after you placed it.

We stopped in at Mango's for lunch by boat a few Saturday's ago and it was absolutely the highlight of my trip to SW Florida. The turquoise water around Captiva is incredible!! It was a bit tricky to navigate our way into the marina, but we figured it out without trouble. The harbormaster at the marina was really friendly and helpful with getting us to our boat slip.It was just a short walk to Mango's, which was definitely busy but we were able to get seating for the 6 of us pretty quickly. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves. I recommend the chilled lobster roll and grouper bites.

Nice place, service solid the 3 times we were there. Food, however, was horre dous. The "grouper fingers" were formerly-frozen farm-raised tilapia, not grouper...and this on an island in the middle of grouper territory. How embarrassing. Even the chicken strips I wouldn't have fed to my dog...and my dog loves chicken straps.

We have stayed on North Captiva four of the last six years over Christmas break. We typically spent most of our time and money at Barnacles because we didn’t agree with being charged for club membership therefore we boycotted Mangos. This year we had no choice since Barnacles is rebuilding. Mangos is overpriced on food and especially drinks. Half the staff is good not great and the other half have no business in food service. It is poorly managed. My belief is ownership is sucking every dime they can out of the place and they don’t have the right business ethics. New Year’s Day around five pm we were turned away and told the kitchen was closing. People had already been waiting on their food for an hour. Despicable.

Extremely expensive with what I consider to be unethical ownership/employees. Was overcharged $4.00 per meal above what menu said + owner said they added an additional $4.00 on each meal for fries......$20.50 for a medium sized cheeseburger w/ maybe a handful of fries........If you visit North Captiva Island take my advice, BRING YOUR OWN FOOD TO EAT and don't go to this ripoff of a restaurant/bar.....Worst part of all the extremely expensive food was bland, McDonalds and Burger King have 5 times as much taste......Goes without saying I will never be back.

Food was marginal at best & service was slow...Prices were not reasonable based on quality. I'd been there a couple of years ago & it was far better quality & selections.

Heather made our first visit memorable. Docks were a little tight but doable. Food was excellent. Drinks were wonderful. Pool was warm and inviting. And did I mention Heather...service with a smile and extreme personality.
