“Food was great, we enjoyed our meal and I thought the food quality was pretty good - I am always leery of bacon quality when I order it in a meal these days, but it was pretty decent! The service was not the best, it took a while for them to bring us menus, and when they brought us water there were tons of hard water stains all over the glass. This isn't really a problem per se, but it wasn't really the best presentation. We received our food quickly but never saw our server again after that - we did go to the counter to relay what our order was and pay, which was relatively painless, just unexpected. Overall, the food was good and we may come back for more of it in future.“

“The service is always very friendly and the food is delicious. There is always parking but when the restaurant gets very busy there is not much space to walk but they also have the app where you can order online. I always find a table to sit down to eat my tuna sandwich with meat empanada or breakfast pizza that I recommend and my dad always orders his hot cheese. Best place to have a good breakfast in my opinion“

“Lacomka is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The majority of the space is for a Russian/Ukraine/Georgian grocery store. There are tons of items I remember from my childhood (my grandparents were Russian and Polish immigrants) like Farmer Cheese and herring and halvah. I used Google Translate to figure out what everything was. In the back is a little cafe area. We didn't know if we ordered at the counter and then sat down but no, you sit down and the cafe area is full service (15% gratuity is automatically added). We ordered a selection of items. I got the red borscht which comes with beef and potatoes and is served hot. I ended up really liking it but it was different than the cold red borscht that my grandmother used to make. I also tried the Compot(e), which is a cold fruit juice which is sweetened. It was very good and went well with the food. My entree was the chicken paprikash which was delicious although a little spicy for me. My dining companions had less luck with their selections. They ordered the Pirozhki, which is fried dough around potatoes and cabbage. They liked the cabbage one but thought the potatoes one was a little bland. The Cheese Pancakes were good, especially with the sweet red glaze. Finally, they got the Khinkali, which is Georgian dumplings. These were like Hong Kong Soup Dumplings where the meats and juices were inside and you had to be careful eating them. My dining companions just didn't like these. They said there was too much pepper on top and the inside meat was not as tender as they thought it would be. However, we had wanted to try a bunch of items and we did. The bread served with the meal was also very good. We sat around for a while after the meal and then weren't sure how to get the check. We ended up just going to the counter and paying, which was fine. It was very interesting to try new to us foods.“

The meal names are gimmicky ("Rachel's Breakfast," "Joey's Breakfast," "Chandler's Breakfast," and more), but the food was just good. It didn't seem to warrant the price, but it is in Baldwin Park, so I suppose it's par for the course. Parking was okay for a weekend, and the place had a little bit of the feel of the show, but overall it was like any other coffee shop. The food took some time to get to us. The coffee is really good there. I would definitely recommend fans of the show to see the place, but I don't think I would make it a habit to go.“

I ordered the Tiroler, which is a cold Turkey sandwich ion a ciabatta, nicely topped with spinach, Smoked mozzarella don a few other goodies, my wife ordered the Turkey pepper jack on pretzel bun which was actually a tastier sandwich subjectively, but too be fair they were both delicious. For I side I ordered a red skin potato salad that was a perfect partner to the sandwich. At this place, you order at the counter and the crew makes if for you as ordered. YoI highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a German style-deli sandwich - you'll avoid the crowds at the main restaurants and end up with a nice experience too.“
