“Visiting clearwater beach for the first time with family and we loved the ambiance, the service was fantastic, the lady was very kind and helpful. We ordered chicken wings, chicken and SA-TAI for appetisers. SAI-TAI tasted amazing. For main course we had shrimp spicy fried rice, fish fried rice, Panang curry and red curry chicken. My top picks are shrimp spicy fried rice and fish fried rice. They have options to customise the fried rice with any meat you like. Finally we had the mango rice pudding for dessert. I’m not a big fan of desert but my friends said it tasted okay. Ooh I forgot that we had saki, which is made out of fermented rice. Will definitely visit the place again when I visit clear water beach.“
“Quaint. Good food. Younger servers very attentive. On top of all the nicety and needs. Some of the older servers rushed and didn’t listen to what was being ordered. Rushed us as we went around.Parking: It’s near a shopping center.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options“
“Had lunch. Was slow. The place has been upgraded over the last 2 years. The menu items are excellent. My guest and I had the Pad Thai and Massaman. Seriously, to die for. I've been coming here over 15 years. Love this place. The service is always great.“
“Waitresses are so kind. They were out of a certain dish but quickly offered replacement meals. I loved how attentive they were. There was a difficult customer who was giving a hard time to a waitress, and she handed the customer with such grace. Give that waitress a raise! I will be back. The hilarious review left by R. Thakkar is the angry customer in question that stormed out without paying; enjoy her one star review for reference. Love this restaurant, and the staff. Good job all around.“
“The Pad Thai is the best anywhere I've been, sweet and succulent. Chicken Panang Curry and the bento boxes are delish, too, making the choice hard. The ethnic decor and friendly service are wonderful, but it's the flavors that keep us coming back, year after year. Enjoy!“
“I order here off Doordash ALL the time! They offer so many deals on doordash, like happy hour, 15% off or a free item with a certain purchase amount. So I feel like they're super fairly priced. PLUSSSSS they are SOOOOOO good. Especially their Pad Thai, I normally get their sushi, but today I ordered their Pad Thai & it was phenomenal. I'll definitely have to come check them out in person soon! ❤️?“
“Great food with lots of flavor and freshness! Enjoyed everything I ordered and would go back again. Portion sizes were a little bit small (but still reasonable) so you might want to order an appetizer with your meal if you’re extra hungry.“
“Tried eating there for the first time since we moved to Safety Harbor and it did not disappoint. Walking in the front door the restaurant was nicely decorated and had lovely music. We were immediately greeted and were told we could choose wherever we wanted to sit. We chose to sit in a cute little booth covered with a canopy of beautiful shiny gold material. The staff were super friendly and attentive. There was so much food to choose from! From sushi to Thai food it was hard to decide what to try first but we ended up choosing the pineapple fried rice and Panang Beef with a Florida Roll on the side. Amazing food!! They also had $5 glasses of wine for Happy Hour from 3-6p along with $5 Sake. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. They also do a busy take out service but I would recommend eating there for a great atmosphere.“
“The service here is very fast! We can get in and out on an hour lunch break! The food is wonderfully delicious! I love their build your own bowls and they have a wide variety so you can get different stuff every time. We love their deep fried bagel roll and it's hands down the best sushi on the menu. They have recently added a fuller sushi menu and today we did the Kappy deluxe it was great.“
“First time here, enjoyed it. Quirky decor and friendly service. They did charge me $3 and $6 for one jasmine tea bag…$9 but their $6 tuna roll was fat and on point so I called it even. The pad Thai was super sweet, I didn’t like it at all but the panang was great. Overall, we will be back. Check your bill for accuracy.“
“Beautiful interior. Great variety of appetizers and main dishes. The option of Thai or Chinese is so interesting! Service was great; our waiter was quick, punctual, and a great conversationalist. Prices were very reasonable considering the size and quality. 10/10 would recommend!!!“
“I ordered the Garlic and pepper beef meal (steamed rice), spring rolls, egg rolls ,side of veggies and side of fried rice. The egg rolls are too small so I'll stick with the spring rolls with ginger sauce (peanut allergies). The service is always EXCELLENT, the young woman at the register is friendly when I place my takeout orders.Parking: Planet Fitness is in the adjacent plaza so depending on time you may have to park a bit further from the entrance, but ample parking.“
“The first time I ordered food for pickup here, they didn't make it spicy as I requested. But it was pretty dang good, so I came back a couple nights later and got the same thing. They made it spicy AND gave me extra Thai chili to make it hotter if I wanted. Delicious food and excellent service.“
“Visiting Tampa from out of state and drove 20 minutes out of our way because we heard there was a great Thai restaurant known for their curry puff appetizer and noodle soups. Growing up in an Asian family, I LOVE brothy soups. We were not disappointed. I had the tom yum and my husband got their special tew nom tok. Both were very good. The curry puff was delicious and I recommend getting that as an appetizer. I will definitely stop ny again the next time we are in the area.“
“Ordered take out red curry chicken, spice was good, portion was just right, but I will order extra rice next time. Came with a side spring roll and fried wonton which was a nice surprise! Parking was tough, but it's at the beach, so that's to be expected. Order was ready and friendly with easy in and out pickup.“
“Man what a great time and also Great night for sushi at T’asia Sushi & Thia ? The Phone service was incredible and on point! The Atmosphere was very friendly and watch football game and the sushi is soo fire???The best sushi I ever had! Keep up the good work I recommend this sushi restaurant and I’m a chef! Thank you! ??“
“Love the variety of all the large, fresh cut steamed veggies hiding under all that beautiful chicken and AMAZING sauce. The crispy Duck was also great. Soup and salad yum! Service - very fast, friendly and helpful. We will be back to try more soon.“
“Don't let the outside fool you. This place has excellent food, service and atmosphere! We went at lunchtime on a Monday and were very pleasantly surprised. We were seated right away by a lovely hostess. We ordered Thai tea with the request to substitute coconut cream for the dairy cream(lactose intolerant), they had no problem with our request and it was so good! We also ordered the veggie sushi roll and pineapple curry. The sushi roll was quite large and very good. I had the pineapple curry with vegetables and my daughter had the same except with pork. Both were excellent and came with a small bowl of soup and a generous serving of jasmine rice! The portions were so large that we had to get to-go containers. I will definitely be a returning customer!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options offered.Dietary restrictions: I was able to get their delicious Thai tea with coconut cream instead of dairy cream.“
“Very friendly and eager-to-please owner who is beloved by his many repeat customers. Sometimes he's willing to prepare for me items at lunchtime that are only on the dinner menu. Not fast food. Everything seems prepared fresh, so there can be a wait. I dine here repeatedly for lunch, when I'm not in a hurry to return to the office. My favorite menu items are (raw) tuna salad, yummy chive pancakes, fried bananas, and salmon and tuna sushi.“
“This is hands-down, one of the best sushi places in the Saint Petersburg area. I have been to over a dozen local sushi bars and they are terrible. Even the place up the street in Madeira Beach called Pete’s sushi is subpar compared to this place. This place is definitely a hole in the wall and one of the greatest fines I would say in the local Redington areaI have even tried Michelin star sushi places in this chef at three so she does a great job. I wish they would wrap up there, Marketing and little bit. They will probably do a lot better when it comes to business.Staff is friendly and very kind. We either dine in or we take to go. I have eaten here probably every week for the last one year.We highly recommend this place if you are in the area.“
“Our little family from IL, with 3 teenage boys, needed a good lunch. Our flight the day before was delayed & we didn’t get in until 4:30am the next day. After a little sleep, we had lunch there, based off of the reviews. So glad we did! Smiley is an accurate description - such lovely ladies running the place! But it should also say: amazing food! We love Thai food & Smiley didn’t disappoint. Portions made all 3 teenage boys very happy (hard to do when they’ve missed several meals in a row - totally hangry!) & it was so good. We always try to support small business when we vaca & so glad we did. Give it a try - so good!!!“
“The singapore mei fun that I had ordered was really good alongside with the fried pork dumplings. The dumpling were extra crispy like i asked the singapore mei fun was spicy and good. It’s close by so I’m definitely coming back for more food! Highly recommend for anyone enjoys or likes some good Chinese food.“
“The food is delicious! The best Tom kha soup that I had. My family and I've been here a few time already and everything we've tried is delicious. The Thai tea is delicious too. The service is excellent. Pam is great and a very sweet lady. Overall this is hands down the best Thai restaurant in my opinion.“
“My companion and I have been to this restaurant nearly a year ago. We decided to return and try the Tom Kha Gai and garden rolls (aka Summer Rolls aka Spring Rolls). The waitress greeted us as we walked in and we were immediately seated. The restaurant was fairly empty and the service was prompt. The restaurant was fairly quiet with light, jazz music playing in the background. Very easy to communicate and the tables were not too tight. We ordered two cups of the Tom Kha, which was the whole point of going. If a Thai restaurant does a good Tom Kha you're usually gonna have a good meal. The Tom Kha was creamy and had the right amount of lemongrass and Galangal. Very good. The garden rolls were interesting, but very tasty. For starters, they did not have the vermicelli and it came sliced, almost like sushi. The greens inside coupled with the shrimp and peanut sauce was very good. In fact, when we next make these at home, we may leave out the vermicelli. We split the monster roll as our appetizer. The fish was fresh as was the crab. The shrimp was lightly fried. We are planning on coming back again to try some of the other items on the menu that looked as good.“
“Such a soothing and restorative experience. They have sheer canopies and string lights above the booths and they played nature sounds over the top of music you'd hear in an anime when the main character is peppered with cherry blossom leaves while writing in their journal about the girl they have a crush on and end up marrying at the end of the series. The food was delicious and the staff was excellent and so nice. I would definitely eat here again.“
“21 years and counting in business… they are doing something right! This is one of those unassuming strip mall gems. So glad we gave it a shot! Panang, green curry, garlic shrimp, tom kha and spring rolls are were all fire. The service was fantastic as well. Here’s to another 20+ year of excellence!Kid-friendliness: Normal“
“I wish I had taken pictures of my food, but it looked so fabulous, all I could do was dive right in! My meal began with a delicious Tom kai ga. The bowl was brimming with veggies and chicken in a wonderful coconut milk base (geez I am salivating just writing this, lol!) The soup that I normally get is weak and sparse, so imagine my delight to find a place that was so generous in their servings?!!! My entree was huge! I ordered the rice dish with chicken and asked them to add basil. PURE HEAVEN! In a time where business owners are cutting corners and raising prices to make a profit, I was very surprised at the portions we received! Normally what I would get would be adequate, but at Thai Bay our eyes were def. bigger than our bellies. We ate so much that it was difficult to sleep that night. Yeah, we overdid it. Also, something to consider...I was asked how spicy I wanted my food. Normally I get it spicy. She suggested medium but provided a condiment tray with different methods to add to my love of spice. Medium was it! I didn't need to add more. Everything was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to go back.“
“What a treat !! If you haven't tried this place out you are in for a very special event ! Not only is the food absolutely phenomenal, the service is top notch! This a a clean, inviting, laid back, and very friendly place ! The sushi is fresh with an excellent plate presentation! The Pad Thai is by far the best in town !! These guys do it right !!“
“OMG! This place is such a jewel!! We'd been hunting for great Thai food (and Sushi) since wintering down here 13 years ago. Coming from Chicago, you can't round a corner without finding great Thai, so we were happy to finally find it here. This place is so cool. One side has "old school" & old fashioned Thai/Chinese decor. The other side was just blown out and super modern with high ceilings big screen TV's a HUGE bar....and get this!....He brews his own beer. I'm bit of beer snob?...this stuff is AWESOME. He just started 2 new brews and I love 'em all.The food isn't just good, it's outstanding. The sushi is legit!Never had the same thing twice and the service is just good. Prices are super reasonable too.Absolutely head the Thai Basil and THAI ONE ON!“
“The food is AMAZING and the staff is so friendly! We got the drunken noodles and singapore fried rice. We only got mild spice levels, but definitely could’ve done medium. Their yum yum sauce might be the best i’ve ever had. Our bill was only $40 for two entrees and two alcoholic drinks. Such a local gem!Vegetarian options: Tofu and Veggie options for most dishes“
“The food, atmosphere, ans food are 5⭐!!!Ask to sit in Pui's section. From start to finish, she provided excellent service, friendly demeanor, and just a warm kind person.I had chicken Labb Salad & Tom Ghai soup. Everything was so fresh it was if they plucked it from an urban farm in the back. The flavors were infused together so perfectly. Especially with he soup. The meal was amazing, but so is the the cleanliness, atmosphere and the people that work here. I could not recommend them and their menu more!“
