“We found the angels at Junk Food Bakery when searching for someone to make our wedding cake late last year. It was last minute and we were frustrated that we couldn't find someone to make us a cake that not only looked beautiful but tasted amazing. We had a very specific flavor profile in mind.We don't live in Brevard county currently but it's our hometown and where our wedding would be. On a wedding planning weekend we stopped in, hoping for a miracle and they did not disappoint. The first thing I told them was that this was last minute (about a month out) and they said "not a problem". I told them that we had an non-traditional flavor in mind and they said "not a problem" but as it turned out, the flavors we wanted were something they normally do anyways! A coconut cake, pineapple cream cheese filling, and a coconut buttercream.....yes, it is as amazing as it sounds! They even had a cupcake in the display at the time that was similar flavors so we got to try it. We also got a few other treats and a coffee that day and everything was amazing! We even added a salted chocolate chip cookie favor to our wedding day order after trying everything. On the wedding day they delivered on time, and although I wasn't there when they dropped it off, I was told they were very professional and made sure the cake looked perfect before they left. Everyone at the wedding loved our cake, and enjoyed having something more interesting than the normal wedding flavors. Many of our guests and family now stop at the bakery as much as they can and we wished we lived closer so we could go more often.I was born and raised in Brevard and love seeing such a talented group of my peers killing it in the small business world! Can't recommend them enough.“

“We had absolutely delightful visit at the Le Monithi Cafe. Understated elegance, attention to detail, cleanness, staff friendliness, food quality were impeccable. Tried crepes, home made cookies and late. All superb. Thank you ! :)2024, March:Quality of experience declined over the past year. Paper cups and plates replaced regular nice plates and cups. Fresh cookies are just "freshish". One person service means that it may take a while to get your order. Half of the ingredients for crepes were out. Current overall experience does not justify higher than regular prices. It become run of a mill coffee and ice cream place. Service is still nice, but that is not enough in itself. Something got lost in the last year.“

“My favorite coffee shop in the Cocoa Beach area!Cafe Surfinista is a short walk from the ocean itself, so it's easy to grab a drink to go for a beach walk — plus they've made the most of a cute patio area to enjoy the fresh air on site, along with ample indoor seating to get out of the Florida heat when necessary. Basically: There's a spot for everyone on every kind of day.All the drinks and food we've ordered have been delightful. Particular fans of the mocha.“

At least what I got was like a mix of the full nosiness of sinking and the smoothness of Starbucks. Would definitely recommend just off coffee alone.“

“?Great Breakfast Spot?Island Gecko Grill is a fantastic brunch spot in Merritt Island. The interior is spacious, with options for both tabled, countertop, and booth seating. The walls are painted with eye-catching, Floridian beach-scapes that capture the mood of this native diner.Island Gecko Grill features regular specials, with staple breakfast and lunch platters and entrees. My ham, bacon, cheddar grilled cheese on wheat multigrain tasted incredible.I saw many "regulars" entering the restaurant around lunch time, asking for their "usuals." The diner gives off a vibe of comfort and familiarity. The wait staff are fast and friendly, and knew their regulars by name and preferences.I will happily return to try more of their menu!“

We got a Kava and CBD based drink flavored with ginger that was delicious. They also have a pool table, ping pong, and Foosball available while you hang out and sip your drinks. “Cedars Cafe- Lake Washington-5-Stars Quickly becoming a local favorite, this gem of an eatery is beginning to make a huge splash in the local culinary scene. As with most fine dining joints (Cedar's is more casual, but the food is not), Chef Toni changes her menu with the seasonal availability of the freshest ingredients. As we have cruised on past summer and are now in the fall months, I thought it would be a good time to revisit a new favorite and see what Chef Toni did with her traditional, yet eclectically mixed menu. After being seated, I hungrily listened to my server rattle off the seasonal specials and began to drool. This should be extraordinary based on what my ears were telling my palate. After a few moments taking it all in, I asked for an order of Artichoke Shawarma, Fennel Apple salad, White Yam fries, Beat salad with goat cheese, Haloumi cheese, some kafta and an order of chicken thighs in a shiitake mushroom sauce. Relaxing in the pleasant atmosphere it seemed only a moment had passed when my server was soon approaching with my food. Setting it down before me, I drank in the beautiful artistry and scintillating aromas spiraling towards the ceiling as I reached for my tools of gastronomical destruction and got to work. After one bite of the Artichoke Shawarma I knew that once again, Chef Toni has hit a home run. After using the outside of the Artichoke for another dish and wanting to be a zero-waste kitchen, Chef Toni took the artichoke hearts, through some shawarma spice on them, and plopped them on some freshly made hummus. The tastes were extraordinary. The Fennel Apple salad is a misnomer as it should read Fennel and Shaved Apple salad. With thin shavings of apple over fresh greens, fennel, fresh mint and a "secret" ingredient of orange blossom water, this salad was out of this world. Used to cleanse the palate between courses, it more than served its purpose In pursuing the freshest ingredients, Chef Toni often comes upon once in a blue moon opportunities from her local sources. Case in point, white yams. Obtaining just a few of them from a local farmer, Chef Toni worked her magic and turned them into fresh white yam fries served with an herbed, homemade tahini sauce that was a sheer delight on the palate. They were like no fries I have ever tasted before. Moving on to the most pedestrian dish, if one can call a goat cheese feta and fresh beet salad with homemade pomegranate vinaigrette drizzled over it, pedestrian. With farm-fresh beets and real honest to Athens goat cheese feta this was amazing as well. It seems that Chef Toni never misses. She must, she is only human, but I have yet to catch her off her game. After a few bites of the salad, just to make sure I had the taste down, I turned my attention to the grilled Haloumi cheese. While this is a traditional middle eastern dish, Chef Toni took traditional and turned it on its ear. With some almond dukkah seasoning and fresh local honey drizzled over it, this cheese was a far cry from the stuff I grew up on. Talk about scrumptious! While the Houlomi cheese was a far cry from my childhood, Chef Toni's take on kafta brought me right back to it. Grilled in the oven, topped with fresh hummus with tomato and onions and topping a freshly made pita, this went straight to the little boy inside the Big Boy and made him very happy. With a delicate blend of herbs and spices, this dish alone was worth the visit. Sadly, this brings me to the last item up for review, the Chicken thighs in a shiitake mushroom sauce. What can I say about this without sounding like the proverbial broken record? Using locally farmed mushrooms and chicken, this dish taste farm-fresh and danced across my taste buds. The sauce was delicate, subtle and full of flavor while the chicken was tender, juicy and had to have been alive just a few hours earlier, it tasted that fresh. This place is 5 stars all day, every day. The Big Boy says, "Just go already!"“

“This is the best breakfast in Brevard County. I've been to a number of places and this one always outranks them in food quality, taste, and service.I love the shaved ribeye and the Mac and cheese sandwich. Both supremely amazing. I've had nearly everything on the menu and am never disappointed. The seasonal pancake is also usually worth a try. So far my favorite seasonal was snickerdoodle with the cream cheese frosting. Also, the chicken and waffles or gator and waffles, if you don't read the description you miss out on the fact the waffle is a citrus waffle and it is amazing. I love the citrus waffle! They have Mr Pibb on tap so I am a happy camper!Parking: Open parking lot shared with businesses nearby. I've never had any issues finding a spot.“

By autism I mean an E5 Navy SK got njp for hooking up with a disabled person. This chow is great.
