“Got to Miami late & wanted some authentic Latin cuisine. Found this place on Google and it did not disappoint, delicious!I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the Sopa de Res but it was the best!!! Highly recommend it as it is flavorful and tender! We also got 3 pupusas rellenas: cheese, cheese & pork & cheese, beans & pork. Very good, not as you imagine we were stuffed after everything! There was a DJ playing latin dance music and also playing some percussion. Our server was very hospitable and came and checked on us often. Reasonably priced, it was a perfect first stop for us!“

“Very rarely if ever do I give an all 5 star rating but in addition to liking the food and service, my wife who is on a gluten free diet loved it. Although we've been in the area for years, we've never eaten here but it was recommended by our friends at JR Electronics while they were doing some electrical work on my vehicle so we stopped in for a late breakfast/brunch. After being seated with no wait, we looked over the menu that was in both Spanish and English. It was a good time to practice our Spanish although our waiter Carlos spoke English. We had actually thought we were about to have Cuban food but to our surprise and delight this was a Salvdorian restaurant. Our waiter assisted us with some of their specialties and we both settled in their version of huevos rancherous with corn tortilla, bean sauce, cheese and eggs of course smothering the tortilla topped with fresh slices of halupinos. And served hot in a small iron skillet. The halupinos were not spicy but added a nice earthy flavor. It was indeed a hearty breakfast complimented by our Cafe con leche.. All this time Carlos was attentive and friendly that made us feel comfortable and at home. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Corn tortillas and other corn products for gluten free folks“

“Such a delight. Villafuerte is pretty much the definition of a hole in the wall. Unassuming, no frills, menus with tape for updated prices, hand written signage on the walls.Everything was really really good. Tostones, pupusas, rice it was all great. The yucca frita was no joke the best I've ever had-- and second place isn't even close.Go there, play some pool, drink some beer, eat great food and tip them really well“

“Pretty good! I was leading a tour group full of gringos and there was a little bit of a language barrier, and not everyone was into the authenticity of the Cuban and Salvadorian offerings. My meal was quite delicious though!Vegetarian options: Unless you eat seafood you may not find anything at all on this menu.“

“I ordered UberEats from this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The pupusas are very tasty and fresh. I love their sopa de res, it comes with a large serving, tortilla and rice. It reminds me of my family's cooking from El Salvador. Overall, the food was excellent, fast service from the restaurant and uber eats.“
