“If I could give Luca Osteria 10 stars I would!! I first found this place from a food blogger on instagram and I am so glad I did. First thing you must make a reservation before going because there is limited seating and this place is always full. We didn't have a reservation and the hostess was so helpful to get us a spot at the bar. The manager saw that we felt very crowded at the bar so they were able to give us a table for two. Even though it's a little smaller inside, the restaurant is so beautiful and classy. We had the perfect date night. We started with a couple appetizers the patate frite and the Local Stracciattella. The patate frite was so perfectly crispy and creamy with the sharp flavor of the truffle. The creamy Stracciattella with the crispy bread was the best combo. For our entree we ordered the short rib bolognese with fresh pappardelle pasta. Now I don't usually order the bolognese, it's usually just basic flavors but I truly enjoyed this one thanks to the short ribs. My husband ordered a pasta with bucatini pasta that was delicious too. We were so full from this lovely meal but we had to try a dessert. We were recommended to ordered the Pistachio Semifreddo, it was very different. It was sweet and salty and the chocolate ganache was so perfect. One thing I really appreciated from this restaurant was the employees they were so attentive and after every single meal they cleaned and wiped down our table. I have never seen that before at any restaurant even the fanciest expensive places don't even do that for you. We can't wait to go back and try new items on the menu. And I will recommend this place to anyone that's in Coral Gables. And if you ever need anything, ask the manager JJ.”

“Excellent meal and dining experience. My wife and I really miss the old Shula’s 347 and have been waiting for a new go-to restaurant to open in the South Miami/Pinecrest area. We found it…in the same location. The Caesar salad and [not so] spicy tuna tartare were an excellent start complemented by the roasted chicken dish with broccolini on the side. Each plate was as good or better than the last, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was terrific. We even had an unexpected Chef Jeremy Ford sighting as he presented a beautiful Tomahawk Ribeye to a neighboring table. Can’t wait to go back!”

Finally, taking the time to write a long-time-coming review because they went above and beyond expectations, even beyond their usual excellent service. We were planning on hosting a wedding welcome cocktail outdoor at the brewery. The weather turned for the worse and Nick and Kelly quickly arranged for us to use Threefold Cafe instead. We were able to have a beautiful, intimate, private event at the cafe. The bride and groom could not have been happier and the out-of-town guests had an amazing time. The beer and wine selection was perfect. Food was delicious. Staff was attentive and warm. I could not recommend them more 10/10.”

“Wow! What a wonderful place to visit in Miami. I saw the owner, Mika, on a few cooking shows and had to go to her restaurant after seeing how good her food was! I was not disappointed either, the food was delicious, atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was super nice. I would recommend checking this place out if you ever get the chance because the food will make your taste buds and your tummy happy. I'd recommend the appetizer sampler and the Vaca frita sandwich. Both were amazing! I will be visiting this place when I come back to Miami, and hopefully Mika will be there so I can tell her personally how great her recipes are!”

“Don't look any further, make a reservation to eat here and I promise you will not regret it! From the moment you walk into Pisco y Nazca, the vibrant Latin vibe is present everywhere you look. The decor is absolutely gorgeous inside and outside and the tables are very comfortably spaced. From your first hello until your last step in the restaurant, everybody you interact with is extremely attentive, friendly, and eager to help you out. But most importantly, the flavors of this place are exquisite. We went as a group of four and shared an array of about eight dishes and it is impossible to pick a favorite. The ingredients are extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. If you like Peruvian food this restaurant is a must! Everything about our experience was absolutely amazing!”

“Nice patio outside, the food was great! We tried the Peruvian rice with smoked pork and plantain and it was pretty good! The fish ceviche was wonderful as well, loved the calamari on it. Checked in on Yelp and got a free glass of wine. Some servers only spoke Spanish so they had to get another server to translate. Other than that we really enjoyed the food!”

“From Boston, short vacation and was really impressed with this new restaurant. We don't have anything like it in Boston. Menu was overwhelming for someone like me although I have been to Peruvian Ceviche places before but this was terrific Thank goodness we had a waiter who was patient and explained it all and although many of our questions may have frustrated him, he took the time to see what we liked and guided us perfectly. “We were in the Gables and decided to try this Australin twist for breakfast. Location is on Goralda by many restaurants. Plenty of seating outside. Wife had a almond milk coffee. Coffe was excellent. Think it was an African brew. IDaughter had a lamb burger with ske liked. There supposedly known for the ? toast. Wife said it was good. I had a toast with lamb and an ? on top. It was good but was missing maybe a fruit marmalade or something. It was different and descent..Service was really good.”

“This is a well-established restaurant. It's been quite a while since we stopped for a meal. But tonight it seemed like the right choice and it was. Service was good, a bit slow until you realized the beef was cooked to order. My husband ordered the special picanha steak dinner with coleslaw and fries. It must have been 4 or 5 large pieces of meat cooked rare as he likes it. I had the half a chicken, coleslaw and fries. Delicious, and huge! No need to cook dinner tomorrow. Prices are great, lots of food for not too much money.”

He was engaging, prompt, and knew that line between being present to speak to our needs without being overbearing. We really enjoyed meeting him. This is another one of Olympia's upscale restaurants. You're greeted with a lot of noise as you enter. The acoustics shoot a lot of patron noise to the front door so be sure to sit on the raised platform near the bar or in the second room of you want a quieter experience. I had the fish and chips and my friend had the chicken pot pie. Both were very good. You'd think living in the Pacific NW good fish and chips would be served at most restaurants. Nope. It's almost always prepared with too heavy a batter. Uptown Grill crafted a delicious version that was breaded just right and fried to perfection. The chicken pot pie looked delicious and my friend said it was very good.The one negative element was my martini. I asked for a dirty martini with a twist of lemon and olives. The drink was fine but the presentation was lacking. One olive and a twist dropped into the glass. If they charge 12 bucks for a drink I'd hope they'd craft its appearance to match the cost. Didn't stop me from ordering second, though. I was thirsty!!”

Of course, not the college bar prices. I can't speak to what it's normally like as I came Saturday mid day to watch a game and then again yesterday around the same time, but the vibe was really fun! Service was a bit slow to get a drink, but it was pretty packed. I tried the " Award Winning Wings" as well. $16 for 10 and we did 5 Asian style and 5 lemon pepper. Pretty good!”
