Ordered online and confirmed was ready at 6:40pm - got there 7:00pm and the order was not ready. Shockingly not even single customer and not busy - so unprofessional and no apology from the employee ?.
Probably the best empanadas I've had in Miami! We are not from the area and stopped in for something quick and so happy we did. We had the La 10 which we gave a 10! Three Spinach is unbelievable 10+? and then I had the guava and cheese as my dessert 10. Super happy! My husband had the Beef which he gives an 8, La 10 which he gave a 10, and tomatoes and mozzarella which he gave a 9. We both got lattes and they were good but we are coffee snobs which is why I don't say it was awesome. Overall, we look forward to coming back!

Plan A had been to hit up the Whole Foods across the street for a quick snack, but as luck would have it, traffic congestion plus an open parking spot in front of Smile redirected me here. And good thing, too, though it took a minute for this experience to go from 'meh' to 'wow!'...Got one chicken and one spinach (for under $6 total). First bite into the chicken didn't impress. While it was generously filled, I found it somewhat dry and salty. Hoping for better with the spinach, I found it too gooey and under-seasoned... By now, you've likely figured out how this story ends: professional that I am, I found a way to simultaneously take half-bites from each empanada, such that they created mouthfuls of bliss. Hopefully, Smile will read this and create a chicken-and-spinach empanada (and name it in my honor). If not, no worries - I'll just have to keep doing the fusion thing...
