A very old Bradenton establishment that’s a vestige of old Florida. Total dive. It’s a shack offering drinking, cigars, eating, fishing tackle, live bait, and dockside gas for your boat!
Recommended on a FB Anna Maria Island Life page….. they were sooo right! Walking in you can clearly see they truly have bait and clean fish there. Very casual and super quaint. The Grouper sandwich came highly recommended. We’ve been eating them all week at different restaurants and every year we come down on different parts of the Gulf. This one ranks at the top! The place is a bait shop so expectations weren't super high. Ok options for live bait. We picked up shrimp and shiners. Staff had always been a little irritable whenever I've been in there. It's conveniently located next to the marina we use so we'll continue to go.
