The Grouper sandwich came highly recommended. We’ve been eating them all week at different restaurants and every year we come down on different parts of the Gulf. This one ranks at the top! Our waitress explained “he” catches, cleans, fillets and hand breads each fillet. There is a different type of breading for each type of fish according to the type. “We've spent 7 days now between Tampa, St. Pete, and Anna Marie Island. This by far was the best restaurant we ate at. Our waiter was prompt and very professional. The lobster bites are absolutely amazing. We had a slight issue with how one of the steaks were cooked but a managed handled it right away. All of our food and drinks were great. Prices were all very reasonable. The wait time to be seated was well worth the wait. We plan to make another trip to Florida and hope to make it here again. Fantastic customer service.“

However, the service staff, in particular our server was beyond terrible. A foul attitude and no professional server skills whatsoever. From the fact that she never asked my wife and I if we wanted another drink, to not giving us a kids menu even though we came with our 18 month old.The restaurant has a beautiful waterfront walkway and so my wife and I went to take pictures. Instead of understanding that this is common for guests to do, our server thought we were leaving entirely and chased us down. Why don’t toy worry if we have enough to drink or are ordering dessert instead of thinking we were just leaving.To the management, you need to address a cancer to your business with servers like this. “We love the peanut butter pie. Our favourite. Be good to offer one with oreo crust. Next best is the orange cake. It is awesome! The chocolate is also awesome and so is the strawberry. However the lemon is flavourless. Customer service could improve...the young girl serving us was always in a hurry, and one time refused to accommodate us with orange cake slices even though there were orange cakes in the fridge that could have been sliced up. It was 2 in the afternoon, so still a lot of time to sell more orange cake slices the rest of the day. A big however.....coffee is Kureg but u r charged barista pricing!!! Signifying this would b upfront as I find it deceiving and a rip off.“

“We had a great experience here at AMO! The hostess, Isabella, was welcoming and helpful from the start. Our server, Carlos, was top notch and made everyone's day with his humor and positivity. “In plaza in downtown Palmetto next to Walmart. It is noisy but it is a sportsbar. Has games, darts, and pool. My husband and I usually sit at the bar and no matter how busy they get our service has always been superb! Food is delicious, and great selection of beer. Definitely do the garlic cheese curds! I like the burgers and Jaxx chicken sandwich as well. Reasonably priced for quality of food. The grouper plicata was an unusual and tasty dish. The espresso martini was excellent. The band. Donnie Bostic, was professional, fun and entertaining. “A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“

After the manager called 911 for us, she helped with the 9 month old baby in our party while I helped my mother. She stuck with us until the ambulance arrived. “Have eaten here three times in the past week oddly enough. Good service and atmosphere for sure! Would recommend the prime rib which is served on Fridays and Saturdays only, the fish and chips and the blackened cod. Would not recommend the shrimp florentine pasta, it didn't have a white wine sauce, just had some sprinkled cheese on top that didn't melt and the shrimp was subpar or the burger. But other than that, most things on the menu are good. The ahi tuna nachos, caprese and the Monte cristo apps were yummy!“

We were seated immediately at an intimate table near the window in the far room room. Very quaint dining room. Formal. Our waiter was very attentive. We got a bottle of wine. My wife’s cousin recommended this place, the duck was highly recommended, I had it, and it was absolutely delicious.
