I really enjoyed my experience at this Haitian carry out. It is a bit small but I took a peak in the back and the kitchen is kept very clean and organized. The food came out hot and fresh. Everything was well seasoned and had a nice kick of pepper without overdoing it for people who don't like spicy food. The portions were very big, enough to serve my family and still have a lot of leftovers. Lastly, they were very friendly and welcoming which is always a plus.
Excellentttttt!!! OMGgggggg. Coming from NYC (now living in Virginia) Haitian food is difficult to find for us locally. We were here on vacation and stopped in, randomly. The owner took time and chatted with us before we got our food. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate. We didn't even make it back to the car, I was so eager to eat. I was NOT disappointed at ALL. I should have known something was not right when they gave my blended pikliz. who puts pikliz in a blender? Anyway I can't speak to everything on the menu but I can say the fried fish was so, so, SO, so dry. and the black rice was not good, it was black in color but didn't have the right flavor.... like either they didn't cook it was the black mushrooms or coconut.... also they use some weird long grain rice. the thing that topped the cake was I got a $20+ platter and these ninjas...read full review
