I have to say, the experience I had Saturday was truly incredible. I woke up Saturday morning only to lose power shortly after on a beautiful sunny day. My family visited the located in Davenport, FL , which I have been to before. The food was excellent, the pancakes were so crisp outside and soft in the inside, tasting so rich and flavorful, the syrup made it even more on point. The eggs, has brown, loaded fries, everything was delicious and I’m definitely coming back for more. Picked up some Pokémon cards and candy for my son on the way out. This location is awesome, service was just as good, very attentive and welcoming.

Unfortunately our experience here wasn't great. The service wasn't brilliant and the food was poor. We won't be back. On the other hand, the gift shop is fab!
It was loud, the kitchen was slow, and it took a few to get our bill at the end. I truly don't mind having my bill placed on the table mid meal to avoid this wait at the end. Went to pay, and there were two very long lines to pay.. I guess don't go at 1:45 on a Saturday. The lady sitting across from us never received her biscuits and gravy...

I must say I love this Cracker Barrel. I worked here at this location as a hostess and I know the food here is great. Jolene was our server and she was nothing short of amazing. So prompt and friendly, best server weve ever had anywhere!!! Nothing frozen here, the casseroles are also made by hand and the chicken hand coated and fried right here. You get a great meal for your money. They even have take home meals for $6 if you purchase an entree. What an excellent value! Where can you eat a home cooked meal for $6. Easy in and out of the parking lot right off Hwy 27 and close to I-4. The country store is also awesome. I found candy I hadn't eaten since I was a kid.Kid-friendliness: Chess board setup in front of the fireplace.
