My fiancé and I have been going here for years and it is the best smoked, wood fire grilled chicken ever! The chicken is always perfect, the smell is so amazing and will have your mouth watering all the way home! It pairs perfect with the beans, rice, pickled red onions and fresh salsa that it comes with too! This is a hidden gem definitely! I am going back Vegan in the new year and we put this on our list of MUST HAVES before 2020 begins!
Saw this on a list of Don’t Miss Restaurants in Kansas City. And for good reason. The menu is simple, a whole chicken, a half chicken, or chicken wings. That’s it. But so good. Comes with tortillas, rice, and charro beans. Chicken is grilled over wood right before your eyes. If you’re any we near here, don’t miss it.

Place is a bit of a dive but has the best wood grilled chicken in town. There are only 3 options: full chicken, half chicken or chicken wings. All come with rice and beans. I recommend getting some chicken to go after you eat your meal bc the chicken is even better cold the next day. Yummy
