“Urban Brick - DeLand, FL I've been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and I don't often write reviews -- but Urban Brick really deserves one! I've been here several times now, and every visit has been fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing -- full of flavor and clearly made with care. They're known for their Italian dishes, and as someone who once owned an Italian restaurant myself, I can honestly say they're doing it right. The service is excellent too -- friendly, attentive, and genuine. Last night I had the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was just perfect. My cousin had the catch of the day and said it was incredible. We finished with the tiramisu, and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Huge thanks to whoever runs this wonderful place. You're doing an outstanding job. Can't wait to come back!”

“The front part looks like a dive bar, the back looks like your grandmother's dining room. Could the building use some TLC... sure. But some might say the atmosphere is part of the charm. Either way, the food is probably some of, if not, the best German food I have ever had. The only thing better than the food is the soup they serve before dinner. If you like giant pretzels, they have those too. The staff have all been here forever and feel like they are all family. Try it and thank me later.”

“This is a must! I just tried a few items because I was searching for a local coffee shop open and didn’t realize I had this so close to home. I tried the cheeseburger with local farmed beef I only ate a few bites of the bread, but they definitely butter it and grill it. I mean, who doesn’t love a grilled bun. The coleslaw was the most refreshing and crisp coleslaw with a hint of sweetness, which normally I don’t like, but it was sweetness from I believe apples that enhance the flavor. Plus the pickled cucumbers were amazing. The biscuits and gravy, they butter and grill the biscuit before putting the gravy on. Gives you those nice crispy edges. The gravy was definitely Housemade. They have a great variety of coffee drinks among many other drinks. They’re known for their flat whites, which is my go to if I can find a good flat white somewhere. I tried the lavender honey flat white. It was delicious and not too sweet. I will definitely be back! I’ll probably come here very often just for the coffee alone. They have beautiful plants, flowers, and trees to choose from as well in the nursery.”

It's one of the last hometown places that's not a chain where you can make new friends and eat in a welcoming atmosphere. I'm there several days a week. I can recommend the Eggs Benedict Florentine, The French Toast or Pancake Combo, Any of the build your own egg combos, and the Boss or Half Boss. Things are tough for everyone but ditch the chains and trade out with this place and keep this gem alive.... 💗”

Smiles and presents for miles, her favorite flavors of ice-cream, and a buffet of toppings Rodeo Whip’s staff really went out of their way to help make her day special. Good times we’re had by all! My favorite things made possible, was the opportunity for us to set up an outdoor shade tent for indoor/outdoor seating options. Our party was small enough we were able to block off the front parking for those who prefer the outdoors more. I brought sidewalk chalk and should have packed bubbles!”

“Had an excellent lunch bike week, food far exceeded our expectations we ordered a bunch of things off the small bites menu to try mostly for the kids and sandwiches for ourselves, everything was delicious, service took a bit longer than typical but my goodness they were so excellent once they realized how long we’d be waiting. Truly a customer focused establishment with excellent food. 10/10 recommend”

“I was there at quarter to 9:00 on a Sunday place an order at the drive-thru drive around to pick it up till the young lady I'd like to order another Burger. She told me that I would have to drive around the building because they were on a timer. I was like okay I understand the time or deal. I drive around the building went to place the order at the drive-thru window she asked me what would I like to drink and I told her. She then came back with we no longer we're no longer serving anymore hamburgers tonight. I was like really she just heard me before I drove around the building ask her to place an order for a double Frisco burger. My boyfriend was at home and he wanted me to bring him one. What a disappointment. The hamburger that I got was the worst ever it was dry bun was hard I couldn't even bite it only reason why I ate the damn thing is because I was so hungry I needed some food it's also the only reason why I stopped there. I will not be returning EVER.”
