Ordered subs online and they completely messed up on my order. They gave me a sandwich that wasn't even close to what I ordered. I called them to complain and they could not care less.

We went in the store about 5:15 p.m. on 1/31/24 to order 2 subs for dinner. Staff was very pleasant, prompt, and helpful. Food, on the other hand, was very disappointing. The meats and veggies were fresh and tasty, but both of our freshly baked sub rolls were like cardboard. I had multi-grain and the other was the parm/herb. Terrible, dry, chewy stuff! Bread was delicious a few weeks ago. We also tried the new pretzel, which looked so good on the menu board. I watched the guy prep it with a slathering of butter flavored oil and coarse salt. Really looked tasty. Biting into it was like chewing on a tree branch... it was dry, tough, and had no flavor save the salt.Oh, DeLand Subway, you disappoint in a big way. My go-to for a quick and somewhat healthy meal has "bit the dust". I really feel like we got ripped off today. Publix subs from now on!

Today, I ordered a sub and went in at the time stated. The restaurant was not busy at all and there were two employees. One woman was making the sandwiches and as I stood there, the young guy greeted the only other customer in there waiting on their sandwich and completely ignored me, and then I had to speak up after several seconds when the woman looked up and I said I’m here to pick up my order for (my name), and she said, “okay.” She smiled but it was a condescending sneer. A few minutes go by and the guy asks me who I am here to pick up for and I said my name and then he asked me again a few seconds later and I said my name, and then he asked me, “order for Ashley?” which is the farthest thing from my name. A few seconds more went by before the guy said they didn’t get an order for my name and then the woman goes, “that’s what I thought when she said the name.” It was on the counter behind them and I stood there for SEVERAL minutes. It was not good customer service at all…to completely ignore me and not even give a greeting when there are two or them is very rude. I will be going to the Subway at the other end of town from this point forward and I advise anyone reading this review to do the same.

Every time we come there is an issue. Usually, their fountain drink dispenser has hardly any flavors, and what they do have tastes off.But what gets me is the fact that my sub is always wrong. Today I ordered a roast beef and asked for extra mayo, extra oil, and extra vinegar. Not only did I not get extra, I got none of all three at all. They did this last time also I went in. So now I have a plain sub that is dry and no way to get condiments.Do better.

Hi there! We went to Subway at about 10:00 pm in the evening, a few days ago...it was a weekday, and it was one of the 24 hour stores, which is usually busier then some others...so we ordered our food online...we ordered 8 subs, all of which were not done according to orders...it made me so sick, when I looked at the sandwiches...that I put four of them away, without touching them, and the other people made some changes to their sandwiches...and ate them, because they had worked late and were hungry, so they had no choice, by the time that we got home! I called the next day, about the four that I had kept untouched, with receipts, and they told me that I could come in with them, and they would remake them....i have no way to get there...I have to get a ride from my friend, so I sent him in, and in order to get my food, for the next two days, I had to get him to take them, and he kept two, and gave me the other two! So I had no dinner for the next day! I got those new sandwiches and they were just as horrible! The lack of meat, plus I had hot subs, steak and cheese/meatballs marinara, two of each, the meatballs were ok, because I opened them up and spread the meatballs out...but the steak and cheese was a bread sandwich...and it was toasted, one half was about 4 inches long, if that, and 1 inch across, if that! Plus the whole sandwich weighed less than a 1/4 pound...even with the peppers and extra cheese/parmesan cheese on it too...it was ridiculous! I had a bad experience before, and I had asked my son to go tell them about it, but I am not sure if he brought the sandwiches back...he gets very embarrassed by things like this, and feels bad for the employees, but it's just to let them know that something is wrong, and it needs to be corrected! The employees get nasty if you complain...and also, if you ask, why they have been advertising fresh cut deli meats, and they are still using meat out of the little buckets, and who knows when it was put there! This Subway does have a couple of very nice employees though...who try to be really courteous and caring! The restaurant itself, is kept pretty clean, well-stocked and well temperatured too! Paige was the person that I spoke to on the phone and told me to come in! I go through the drive thru quite frequently, but I will be going somewhere else, for a while! Thanks so much, for reading this, and I hope that you have a great day!
