“This was our first time dining here. The atmosphere was great. I had a chance to speak with the owner’s daughter she was very informative. She made me feel very welcomed. We enjoyed our food I even ordered an extra side of cabbage to take home. The fried chicken was delicious.“

“Everything was great, the food was delicious as usual but our waitress, Janice, was awesome. After dinner, I had a special to go order request and she made sure it was done as I asked and was pleasant about doing it for me. Thank you, Janice.“

“The food is so good. The bread is fresh and tasty (they actually get it from Chicago!) Best Italian beef sandwich around - by far! Bruschetta was so yummy! Service was excellent! Outdoor seating is appreciated with our dog in tow! Definitely a place to revisit!“

“This has become one of our new favorite spots! The food is so creative and you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The portions for the money are extremely large. The service each time we visited was top notch. Attentive but not pushy at all. Highly recommend.“

“The sushi was so good! This place is a hidden gem! Best for takeout rather than dining in, since they only have a couple tables. They do have a sushi bar to sit at, though. Very casual atmosphere, literally nothing pretentious. We will definitely go back for takeout!“

“Been looking for a place just like this for a year. If you wonder what a nice truck stop is like, this might be it. No pretenses, starts with drinkable coffee, 2 refills thank you. “This was one of the first restaurants I tried in downtown DeLand on the Friday night "Farmers Market" and it was amazing. I got the Raver neighbor (pictured), and on another occasion the Plain Jane Neighbor. They both were excellent! I loved the flavors of both. It loses a star for service only because of that wait time, otherwise staff was very nice and accommodating. The homemade ranch is the bomb. As far as seating goes there's only 4 tables and chairs so when it's busy it's pretty hard to find a place to sit, but other than that I highly recommend.Parking: You will have to use the public parking in downtown DeLand. It's free. This business does not have a specific lot for it's business.“

“I didn't actually go to the Chinese restaurant. I went to the smoke shop right next door where I bought cool, nifty, really cool to use to get high with paraphernalia. I recommend this door to anyone who wants to talk to a true dopehead who runs the store.“

“The 2 of the 3 meals we ordered came out on time and were excellent, Chris the manager , and Nikki our server , went above and beyond to make up for the meal coming out late by not charging us for it and taking 10% off our bill. We didn’t expect that, we will definitely be back! Thanks again for doing a great job and caring for your customers ❤️“
