“I grew up in Chicago but moved away in 2002, and since then I hadn’t found a pizza that even came close to true Chicago flavor—until 2018, when I accidentally stumbled upon Windy City Pizza. The first bite gave me that Ratatouille Ego moment (if you know, you know). I could have cried. After so many years, I finally found a Chicago pizza that truly tastes like home. I absolutely love this place and happily drive 40 minutes whenever I can. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place.”

Thank you, Ronen, for pulling together a last-minute cake, it was perfect! My personal favorite is the SoFlo Swamp or Cookie Chaos The cookie dough ice cream cake was a huge hit for my two-year-old’s birthday and my brother-in-law’s said it was way better than any cold stone cake they’ve ever had before. My husband’s go-to is the espresso milkshake, and he absolutely loves it.”

Our first time, the restaurant is beautiful, loved the cat decor, food did not disappoint…presentation, freshness and flavors were on point! We sat at the bar for happy hour, great service…Ivan was wonderful at explaining the dishes, and made some great recommendations.
Kimchi Caesar with pork belly was delicious. The bluefin don was good, but probably our least favorite. Waygu garlic ramen was flavorful and we both enjoyed. JB roll was perfect. But the Trio Toro and hamachi Serrano…outstanding 10/10. Check out the cute apparel and accessories for sale too.…Ivan was wonderful at explaining the dishes, and made some great recommendations.

From the beginning, organizing it, Steve, the manager was outstanding so cooperative so easy to work with and the day of the party everything was set. “I visited Hawkers for the 2nd time 2 weeks ago. I brought another group of friends there to celebrate one of our girlfriend's birthdays. Once again it was a great experience. Chef Reggie remembered me from my last visit. Manager Tom welcomed me back. Chef Benjamin came out to meet my friends and I. He wished the birthday girl happy birthday. Our waitress Dakota was very friendly and attentive. The staff made us feel special, and thanked me for coming back again and introducing my friends to the restaurant. We enjoyed the food, our drinks and the vibe of the place. A+ for customer service, hospitality and food. I will definitely come back again. I may even bring a new set of friends with me next time around.”

However, I got stuck on side exit ramp getting off I-95. the lady mgr called HUNG UP ON ME.!!! after . next few minutes later the man called and was trying figure where I was. He wanted to come deliver my food to me. he said "I AM VERY SURE YOU'RE HUNGRY" (I WAS) ps instead come all way 95 asked him drop my house. HE DID to pix and gave to roommate (thought was asleep) he didn't care about the tip.. just wanted make sure I had something to eat. knowing I was writing since 7 am and was almost 11 pm. “We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday. Our server Connor gave great recommendations. The tuna pizza and the 48-hour short ribs were faves, but the miso black cod was also insane. Truly everything was superb from the cocktails, to the saki to the dessert. We will definitely be back! Note that it is a very cheery atmosphere so it can be loud. I have pictures but can’t seem to add them to the review.”

The only thing that prevents me from giving this restaurant 5 stars are the prices and the portions. Over $40 for a pasta dish with no protein is just a little ridiculous! The portions are small and I left the restaurant still feeling a little hungry even though my wife and I shared an appetizer, we each had an entree and we shared a dessert. As I said, the prices are a little over the top but the food is excellent so at the end of the day, this is a place we will return to. Many restaurants have really become out of control with their prices so certainly not limited to this one. Some highlights were the Ravioli Du Daphine and the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Oh and the butterscotch pots de creme was an absolutely amazing finish to our meal!”

We held a private party at the restaurant last night for a celebration of life with 40 people. Most of the people had never gone before to the restaurant and just raved about it. They have a good variety of pastries, we ended up getting a few to try. Great spot, we will definitely be back. Only constructive criticism I would give is improving their coffee. Their coffee is good quality but fell a bit short compared to how good their food was.”

The appetizers and meal were good. Worth the price. A small mixup on one of the side veggies was no big deal. Our waiter Erik was adequate. Should have done a better job clearing the dirty dishes from the table when we completed our meals, and never offered to refill our water glasses. This was reflected in his tip. Would have given 5 stars if not for this.”

We ordered the garlic bread, Caprese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the Original White Clam Pizza, and every single item was outstanding. The coal-fired pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made right in front of us. You can really taste the quality and tradition in every bite.

A special thank you to our waiter, Max, who made the experience even better. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant. He even asked if we’d like to see how the pizza was made, which was such a nice touch and made us feel truly welcomed.

When you are there its like being back at studio 54 or even being back at 2001 Odyssey were the original idea of the lighted dance floor came from. “Absolutely fabulous. This small family owned French bakery is the NEXT big thing bakery wise in Delray Beach . This is a new business owned and operated by a lovely French couple with some SERIOUS baking skills. The berries brioche pastry I had today was soooo good, sooo unique that after eating it ... I went right back up to the register to purchase another. The smell of French dark roast coffee and French pastries fill the air when you walk in. This bakery is right next to Trader Joe's so it was easy to find . I will definitely be back again ! Be sure to go early for the best selection !”

She also looked very young, so I’m not sure if that played a role, but either way, I don’t think that’s great customer service especially in a restaurant industry..
