Coming from New York, I am always looking for good Chinese food in fla. We tried China Garden because my friend who ate there thought it was very good. We started off with the soup, which was egg drop wonton, which was a little bland with one wonton. The egg roll was a nice size, and my shrimp with lobster sauce came with a large amount of jumbo shrimp, which was good. My husband thought the Kung pao chicken was a little bland. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dishes were all a nice size. The restaurant food was good. I am just spoiled by NY Chinese food

The despicable man wh answered the phone today Saturday February 10th 2014 at 12:15 pm was the rudest and most unprofessional piece of garbage I have ever dealt with in a business. They just lost a long time good customer because of this piece of trash. They ought to be ashamed to allow a person of this low life attitude to deal with customers. To hell with China Gardens!

I took my family to China Gardens after visiting the girls and had a pleasant lunch. The eggplant with mixed vegetables was delicious.

Can't believe the bad reviews. This is the best Chinese food in the area. They accommodate my allergies. The food is better than all the others in the area. Great service.

You can get Peking duck as a regular dinner at a reasonable price. The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever tasted. They have a large menu.

Buyer Beware!! Unfortunately, you need to be very aware when you order takeout because the prices on the takeout menu are not what you get charged! Items that are listed as $12.00 will end up being $15 or $20 ...offers that say "order $25 and get two free egg roles" but actually you end up with one....either update the online takeout menu or tell the customer that the prices are not as printed!! we'll skip this place next time we want Chinese food...

My wife and I recently sought out Chinese takeout and stumbled upon China Gardens in Delray. Our order consisted of chow mein, beef and broccoli, potato scallion pancakes, sweet-and-sour soup, and a side of wonton soup. The chow mein and beef and broccoli were good dishes - the beef was surprisingly tender, and the chow mein wasn't overpoweringly salty. However, the potato scallion pancakes were a tad greasy but still tasty. The generous portion of sweet-and-sour soup was a hit with my wife, and the added small portion of wonton soup was a nice touch. Despite opting for takeout, I observed the restaurant's ambiance during my brief wait. It had a lively atmosphere, and the staff, including the host and waiters, were notably friendly and attentive. The owner's or Managers personal greeting was a positive experience. While not the pinnacle of Chinese cuisine in my experience, I appreciated the care taken in food preparation and the staff's customer service. I believe the variety of dishes offered might hold the key to unlocking China Gardens' full potential. I'm inclined to return and explore different items on the menu, as I believe there's more to be discovered beyond my initial order. Overall, a solid choice for Chinese takeout. Perhaps next time we may choose to dine in and explore more menu items.
