Been going to this place for over a year and we asked for extra rice while eating our dinner and when we did the waitress said it would be an extra $2.00 more!!! That little bowl of rice probably cost them less than .3 cents and they had the audacity to want to charge us that while our dinners were $16.95 each! “WE HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN CHARGED FOR EXTRA RICE” Asked to speak to the manager and the waitress said that she’s going to tell you the same thing and she went and talk to the manager and I said please tell her to come over and she said for the second time she’s going to tell you the same thing. WE WON’T BE GOING BACK!!!

My wife wanted a California Roll and tempura and Nana's was the only place with both. So she ordered the TEMPURA APPETIZER with 2 shrimp and mix vegetable tempura and the California Roll with brown rice for an extra $1 , both very good. I ordered the FRIED CALAMARI ,Crispy calamari and sweet chili sauce, could have been crispier. Also the SASHIMI APPETIZER , 9 pieces of chef choice sashimi, very fresh. Then GYOZA, Japanese pork pot sticker, comes either steamed or fried, fair.

Japanese and Thai restaurant serving very good sushi. But we decided to try some of their Thai dishes. I started with Sunomono, krab, octopus, shrimp, cucumber, masago, scallion sesame seeds with rice vinegar, very good. For mains, my ordered the PAD SEE EW with Chicken, Flat rice noodles sautéed with broccoli, eggs in brown sauce, or you can get it with Tofu, Vegetable. Beef or Shrimp. I opted for the DRUNKEN NOODLE with shrimp or you can get it with Chicken, Tofu, Vegetable, or Beef . It is Flat rice noodles sautéed with bell peppers, bamboo shoots, green beans, basil leaves in a spicy basil sauce. Sauce wasn't spicy, in fact it lacked taste. I will have to stick with sushi.

I ordered the sashimi sinner. 16 pieces of 5 different kinds of fish. Very fresh and very good. Some of the places give a soup or salad, not here.

We ordered Thai food on the phone and picked it up a half an hour later. The restaurant was small, clean and busy. It’s in a strip mall, doesn’t look very special but the tables inside was socially distant, the sushi bar looked fresh and everyone looked happy. The outdoor tables in front overlooking the parking lot weren’t impressive. Our spring rolls were delicious. My husband’s peanut grilled chicken with brown rice was equally large and delicious. I enjoyed my Nanas pad Thai with four large shrimp and pieces of chicken. Delicious, we will be back!

There are not many Thai joints in Delray that also serve quality sushi and sashimi and my particular favorite their green, red, and Massaman curries. For vegan diners this is a wonderful menu to choose from as well. It is located in a strip Mall next to The Big Apple Bazaar on Atlantic just west of Military and has the benefit of great parking. Its not very high on ambience, but you wouldn't mind entertaining out-of-towners there either because the food is always good and the prices are fair. make a reservation in season.

We went for lunch and we were very impressed. Small but nice little place next to the Big Apple shopping area, behind Wood and Fire. Lunch had bento boxes and curries, all elegantly served with lots of refills of iced green tea and regular tea $1.50) Average price for lunch was $8 to $11.50 which included miso soup or salad. Popular place with many take outs and about ten tables so it can fill up. Delicious!
