I had coconut shrimp absolutely delicious! The pineapple sauce is perfect with the shrimp. My side was a Caesar salad. Very good but very small.

The food is nice, the first time I went I ordered a bistek steak bowl to eat there and it was delivered cold, I had to ask for it to be heated up, so it turned out very good, and the second time I ordered schrimp bowl very goodThey should have a refil with sodas

The chicken has the most offensive odor. Someone brought it to my apartment a few times. My refrigerator smelled for days. I'm afraid to even go into the store. I literally gag when I smell it. I called to ask what the heck they use. Really disgusting and offensive

So I like to see proper use of gloves and attention to not cross containamaint as best the staff can. I have been in the industry for a long time and have worked many places and walked out of many jobs for improper cleanliness and it so that eems pretty clean in the kitchen whenever I get a meal here. I as well have not gotten food sickness from this place as I have from multiple other restaurants in the area this is greatly appreciated as there are very few restaurants that have attention to that detail and they cross containamaint and I get sick so again thank you.

Update January 2024:This place flat out sucks, forgive my language but what on earth happened to this restaurant. Apparently the regional or whatever title of the manager is that’s been around since this place was built apparently doesn’t care. When I order online through the app I get to the restaurant and they are clueless every time and they print out the order from the register and start making it when I show up. I would think ordering 45 minutes in advance is enough time but no one has any clue what’s going on and they make online orders when people show up. When you finally get the order after being ignored when you show up it is wrong every time. How hard is it to have chopped raw onions available. Unbelievable. I might as well just order at the register. No wonder I stopped coming to this location for three years and now I remember why. I’m done with Pollo. No response needed. Just fix this disaster.Best of the Pollo locations in the area. Newest and still clean and I hope it stays that way and doesn’t become disgusting like other locations. I try to avoid peaks times as it is slow like every Pollo location. Good location aside from the occasional sauce bar being out of something and slow service when there is only one cashier and one person on the line. Also, employees take up way to much room at the tables when waiting for their shifts. Corporate representatives do this as well sometimes.

Pollo tropical’s food is really good when you actually get it. My pick up order was supposed to be ready at 5:19 and I did not get it until 5:40. Me and my boyfriend were pretty much ignored. In the end, my bowl tasted good but it was missing the toppings I ordered.
