“We had an amazing evening at the Living Room for my birthday. The food was outstanding and service was on point. Do yourself a favor and get the poutine appetizer! Everything was full of flavor. Only issue we had is we were so looking forward to the Focaccia bread appetizer but the bread was not Focaccia was more of a loaf of seasoned dinner bread. It still tasted good but should not be called Focaccia. All in all we can't wait to go back and try it for brunch!”

I read the reviews and they were great.. but sometimes a place has good reviews and then it’s not that great after all. lol I am very happy to report Pineapple Jacks did not disappoint.. I had a blueberry mule make w blueberry vodka. It was very good and different, not too sweet either. We ordered the fish N Chips, replaced coleslaw w side salad. Even the salad was very good made w cheese, bacon, cucumber, purple onion, and homemade balsamic. The Fish was fresh and fries thick/crispy for only $16. Not to mention it was a huge platter. A Must have, the stuffed pineapple!! OMG coconut pineapple rice, steamed broccoli, sirloin steak, skewer of shrimp, and topped off w a teriyaki drizzle. All of it was amazing, steak not chewy and cooked to perfection. I don’t normally like rice too much but theirs was out of this world.. and was only $26.. Let’s not forget dessert.. Pineapple upside down cake with ice cream. The cake was hot and so moist it melted in your mouth. The waitress Michelle was very friendly and there anytime we needed her. Our bill was a total of $62 and well worth it. We got a lot of food and it waz amazing, we didn’t feel like we got ripped off like a lot of other places.”

I had steak bites with raspberry sauce and bleucheese crumbles, and a side of delicious tots, we had 2 good Reuben’s with a generous amount of fries and a chicken and cheese quesadilla with salsa and sour cream! “Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Pete's Diner! They very kindly arranged to deliver a turkey dinner today to my brother (who lives in Dunedin and is recovering at home after surgery). Well, they delivered a delicious meal at 2:30pm and it was truly a HOMEMADE dinner. It was EXCEPTIONAL! From the turkey, to the gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream--it was a homemade feast. We are deeply grateful to Pete's Diner for the extraordinary Thanksgiving dinner they prepared, and delivered!!!!”

“My Memphis born husband stopped smoking pork and beef when we discovered Eli's. Whenever family visits, getting Eli's BBQ is a MUST. WE have enjoyed their pork, beef, beans,, coleslaw and sauce for many gatherings. Most recently we hosted a very large party. All the food was so good, people wanted to know where we got it! Ronni and the staff are good, caring people. The value ion the food, the service and the warmth of the owners and staff make it a "gotta come back again often" place. At this time there is road work being done in front, that makes it a bit difficult to get to, but it is worth the effort. It's right on the Dunedin Trail, so you can go by bike, or walk a bit further than you are used to on Douglas..”

“The place, the atmosphere, and the staff were all great. Free parking is definitely a bonus too. I ordered the grouper sandwich with fries. Everything was really good, even the fries, which are usually pretty mediocre in most places. The only real letdown was the bun. It’s that regular cheap plastic-style bun, and it just ruins an otherwise great sandwich. I’m not saying they need to bake fancy buns in-house, but there are plenty of better options out there that would make a big difference. Taking off one star for that.”

“CADE!!!! We were fortunate enough to discover SBB when we first moved to Dunedin about a year ago. The staff is so friendly and patient and informative. Plenty of games to play; pool, darts etc.,

When we saw a post that SBB was one of the few/first places to open the day after Hurricane Milton; we rolled in just a few minutes later. Cade was just getting started with a handful of us at the bar. Within 30 minutes... BOOM - place was packed and Cade handled the influx LIKE A BOSS!!!

So so so patient, fun, and entertaining.
TBH - craft beer folks can be snobs. And some customers did behave that way - which is sad.
But NOT CADE!
He patiently (repeatedly!) answered newbies questions with the grace and calmness that is so so appreciated especially during these trying times where our area tries to recover.

“Hidden gem on the causeway!
Hurricane Eddie’s is exactly what a good dive bar should be — laid back, full of character, and always welcoming. It’s got that local charm that’s hard to find these days. The bartender is fantastic — super friendly and on top of everything. You’ll always feel like a regular here, even if it’s your first time.

It’s open-air, which gives it a great beachy feel, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable. The food is way better than you’d expect from a little dive bar — definitely worth ordering. Plus, there are pool tables, darts, and just an all-around good vibe, especially if you're looking for something casual and unpretentious.

If I had one suggestion — they could use some better lighting in the parking lot. It’s easy to miss, and some people might not realize they’re open. A little live music now and then would take it up a notch too.

“This location in Dunedin just opened not too long ago. I have celiac disease and I get the gluten-free pizza. They do mention that it’s not a gluten-free environment but they do everything they can to keep the food separate from regular pizza. Service is always pretty good and they are usually really quick with getting a pizza done. Typically between 10 to 15 minutes For the small 10 inch gluten-free crust. Prices are good and if you go on Tuesdays, it’s buy one get one free. Definitely recommend.

Dietary restrictions: There are gluten-free options available, and they even have something called a pizza bowl, which is, essentially, a pizza in a bowl without the crust.
