“March 2024. Drove to Dunedin to get some walking done along their Main Street district pre-sunrise. Looked up a few coffee shops along the way but it seemed most didn’t open until 8am. I Just happened to wander by TuKro and thought it was a private house without curtains l. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they were just opening. Now the sun is up and time to move on…“
“Really cool coffee shop with delicious baked goods. Feels like it's in the middle of residential. I had a double espresso that was perfect and my wife had some sort of lavender latte concoction made with oat milk and made extra hot. We also had a couple of bite sized pistachio baklava that were delicious but I wished they were heated up instead of cold.Parking: Not a huge lot but probably enough for most hours.“
“Had a great breakfast experience at Sandpiper Cafe during my vacation. Opted for the front porch seating, where our server was not only attentive but also recommended a fantastic breakfast bowl. The breakfast sandwich stole the show – easily my favorite vacation breakfast, thanks to the amazing croissant. Accompanied by lattes in generous mugs – the perfect start to the day!“
“A Lemonade stand in a converted boxcar you ask? Sure! Lol cool, funky concept. They have many options like limeade, sugar free Stevia syrup, and more.Pretzel was just ok, beverages were tasty and refreshing. Enjoyed the throwback background music playing.Shannon, who took my order, was fun, and friendly! Thank you! There's an outdoor seating area facing a bike and pedestrian path. You gotta check this place out! One of many unique, cool, artsy, funky experiences here in Dunedin!“
“I was privileged to try his double espresso. It is very, very fresh, with a huge crema, wonderful aroma and complex but smooth and fruity flavor. It’s a blend of Ethiopian yirgacheffe, Columbian and Brazilian beans, roasted to medium at exactly a peak of 450 degrees and then immediately cooled so they do not over cook. Wow! Five stars! How this can be only be $12.99 a pound? The quality and price blew me away. But then there is the shop. It’s a massive art gallery with multiple rooms and every inch covered with art, mostly Picasso prints! I kid you not! You have to explore this place, on one of the only three days a week Mario is open!He has no employees. He has no imitators. He has no helpers. He has his own passion for coffee and art. He has his desire for coffee perfection! He spends most of his week roasting small batches rather than opening the shop.Life is great with a unique passion for perfection! Thanks Mario!“
“One of my favorite beakfast places in town!Delicious options, affordable prices, clean family friendly atmosphere, pet friendly outside and great service every time!Their breakfast sandwiches are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, and I usually share one and I’m pretty full! Highly recommend this place!“
“Such an incredible experience, best mocktails EVER! I simply did not want to leave just because of the excellent service I received. Thank you Stephanie :)Edit: This will fill you up, don’t be deceived( I had leftovers I had to take home just because i got so full ) lol“
“Alita and Alexis are awesome! Very professional, friendly and always have a big smile on their face. Although they are so busy doing our drinks and managing the customers, they still happen to have that spark on their face! We love this place because of them! If they leave the store, we won’t come back here again! They make this business better! They also make our drinks so yummy! Lots of flavors and everyone will love it! Thank you ladies! We will see you again tomorrow!“
“The food is great! Highly recommend the biscuits & gravy! Feels authentic Florida with friendly service and down home cooking! I had the spinach, feta and onion omelet add green pepper and mushrooms. The veggies and spinach were fresh and cooked to order. It was excellent!“
“I'm addicted!!!Really good, I mean EXCELLENT!!!, old fashioned home cooking, so good that I buy one to eat there as well as another to take home for dinner. Everything is SOOOOOO fresh and flavorful and piled high on your plate, these guys don't skimp that's for sure! And the selection is Huge ... sometimes it's so hard to choose cause everything looks so good, and turns out so far that EVERYTHING I've ordered so far has been FIVE STAR ... and you MUST HAVE their scrumptious MIMOSA ... goes especially well even if you're just enjoying yourself at breakfast.“
“We stopped in for a coffee and a bite and this place was very warm and welcoming. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and they recommended adding honey and black pepper, which is definitely the move. Delicious! They personally bring the food out and made me feel appreciated for coming in. Would recommend for anyone looking for a morning pick me up.“
“Super cool place to get a coffee or beer and just sit at the bar. Nice music on all the time. Lots of regulars. The owner Jess is really friendly and fun. Can bring your pups inside or enjoy the outdoor seating.Enjoy coming to sit and have a matcha before or after walking dog around Dunedin. Sometimes come in evenings for a beer or two!“
“Visited last week and today Jordan was great both times very nice, made a perfect hot latte. Hard to find consistent hot lattes many places are lukewarm and not good this place perfect. The blueberry cakes slices are very good, fresh and moist. I would advise stopping by.“
“Amazing staff, but horribly understaffed (and from what the usual patrons told me while I waited is that this is “the new normal” for this Starbucks location). That being said, the staff was SLAMMED at 3pm on a Tuesday— shame on corporate if they think 3 people are sufficient. The dining room was a mess but that is NOT the fault of the staff… there is no way they would even have had a second to spare to clean up.My barista, Gabe, was phenomenal. Like an idiot , I wasn’t clear about what I wanted (I ordered a vanilla Frappuccino but I was expecting a coffee Frap, and was given a Crème… Gabe re-made it for me without a second thought, and I wish I had had cash on me so I could add an extra tip.) FANTASTIC service from Gabe. And despite everyone being overwhelmed, orders were being churned out in a timely manner— no one was left waiting. Yes there was the obligatory uppity yuppie Dunedin Live Laugh Love Karen with the sour look on her face when they ran out of bacon cheese bites.. whatever. The staff were all absolute gems and had the patience of saints.Starbucks: increase your staffing!!! And if you can’t find people, well then here is a news flash: PAY THEM MORE.“
