Service is great with a really friendly staff and lots of smiles. Clean and very comfortable inside and outside. Great assortment of beers and wine. Added live music which is a big plus. “We tried this place we find on yelp and had great reviews. First it is very cute inside and you are welcome right as you walk inside . I wanted to try pupusas and sopes that I have never tried before . I got a steak sope and it was just delicious , so were the pupusas . The food is excellent! The service is great ! “Love this place. We get lunch from here at least once a week. I’m Mexican and this is my preferred spot for authentic tasting Mexican food. No restaurant in my 30 mile radius has come close. I’ve tried their flautas, tacos, gorditas, sopes, tostadas, quesadillas. All have been amazing. 10/10 recommend. Around noon it gets pretty busy, but it’s worth the wait.“

“Food was amazing! Service 9/10. Arrived shortly before closing. We were hesitant to order because the first thing the greeter did was stare at his watch. He then said the kitchen closes in 10 minutes, before seating us. We ordered right away. The food was prepared promptly and service from there was good. This was our first visit which is so key ? to future consideration. Hope they are consistent. This will be one of our regular spots!“

“Very nice service staff, very efficient service. Authentic - and excellent - Mexican food. On Wednesday's they have a Mariachi band. Very talented. Traditional Mariachi style music and more modern songs. In fact, their version of Hotel California tonight may have been the best version I ever heard. “5 starts BUT READ!To be honest the food is amazing, fresh and you can tell it is made with love, BUT portions are not like in the pictures, they serve pretty small portions for mexican food and special for this kind of places, we had to come back and buy some tacos in another little places, they came with a lot of protein and they were just 1$ each, in Mexi-Peru they were 3$ each with just a little bit of carne asada on it. Too bad I didn't take pictures because initially I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after being still hungry and having to come back for more food I think this review could be useful, don't get me wrong excellent taste but portions - price not at all!To be honest, the food is delicious! It is fresh and you can see that they cook with love, BUT the portions for Mexican food and this type of place that is like a fair, were very small, they are not like the photos! After eating we were hungry and had to go back to buy $1 tacos at another stall that were also delicious. It is not a negative comment and it is too bad that I did not take a photo, because initially I did not plan to leave any comment, but after having to buy at another stall, and cheaper with more food to be satisfied, I think that this comment would be useful for both The owner and the customers, the food is seriously good but the prices for what they serve are not!“

“Florida doesn’t have many good Mexican food options. I was happy to find this place. Indoor and outdoor seating(shaded) available. The tacos were excellent. My daughter is picky about meat with fat on it and the meat here had none of that and full of flavor. Service was great, people were friendly. Will definitely be back again!“
“Los Laureles is a gem for those who love authentic Mexican food. It has become my go-to carniceria for many reasons. The meat dept. has the best homemade chorizo in the area and the seasoned carne picada makes for a great steak taco or burrito. They have homemade tortillas available and fresh baked torta buns (Bolillos). All the dried Chiles and produce you need to make all the best Mexican dishes at home are here. They have a Mexican restaurant inside, you can dine in or carry out, normally when we have a taco party at home I pick up their refried beans, rice and their homemade hot sauces (red and green) all of which are phenomenal. They also have a taco cart most days outside serving up tacos to the neighborhood. If you are used to authentic Mexican food to take home, eat in or just to get the best ingredients to host your own (pro) taco party you need to come to Los Laureles.“
