“We used Hickory Hollows Catering for our wedding and even though this is a BBQ restaurant their catering menu has a huge variety. We ordered a taco bar because that is my favorite food and it was AMAZING. Everyone at the wedding was eating and complimented us on the food. My husband, father and I all love spicy food and tacos with flavor and we were so happy with the food choices we made! 10/10 recommend for catering!“
“We had a great experience eating lunch at Whiskey Joe’s. When we got there a little bit before 12 noon on a Sunday, it wasn’t too busy, but the place quickly filled up. With beautiful weather and outdoor seating directly on the water, everyone preferred to sit outside. They have a large outdoor bar too, which is nice if you are just looking to grab drinks with a beautiful view. We ordered several different foods, including the loaded island fries, wings, grouper sandwich, tiki chicken breast, and jambalaya. Everything was delicious and the island fries were even filling enough to serve as an entree. The service was also excellent. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and the view made it even better. We will definitely be back again!“
“Updated 3/30/24 with more photos. We visited my parents in Sarasota and this was our first time at Seasons 52. We loved it! The atmosphere was awesome, the food was great!I love their scallops, they are just perfect along with the risotto. On a more recent visit 3/24/24) they had asparagus with the Scallops instead of the broccoli. My parents love the Salmond salad, but my dad commented that on our most recent trip (3/24/24) that the salmon was a little dry. From 3/24/24, my husband said the lamb was good but a little chewy, he had to chew a lot. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot on either side of the mall.Parking: The Sarasota restaurant is located in a shopping mall, so there’s lots of free parking.“
“Our second dinner to Tiramasu was beyond expectations. Best Italian in Bradenton and offers the ala Parmigiana Cheese wheel pasta (pictured) prepared at your table. . Service was top-notch. Cozy setting where you can actually hear your table conversation. Veal Valdestano (pictured) was tender, flavorful, and delicious the next day. Wine pours are generous. Highly recommend!!!“
“One of my favorite breakfast spots in Longboat Key is Harry’s Continental Kitchen. The servers are so friendly, and the ambiance is always inviting. It's a nice touch when you see the owner greeting guests. The food is amazing; whenever we visit Longboat Key, this place is our go-to for breakfast. Plus, they have a gluten-free option, which is a big plus.Dietary restrictions: “They offer gluten-free bread as an option for those with gluten allergies”.“
“Have been here multiple times and every time gets better and better!! So happy Speaks has GF options for me as well, and GF options that are DELICIOUS. This time I got a GF Baked Penne dish, the cheese pull and the flavor was out of this world! Our niece ordered the Smoked Fish Dip (I’m not sure if this is GF but I still tried it because they were raving about it, and it was immaculate). They were super busy this visit (Sunday night @ 7pm) we were able to get seated within 15/20 min. Even though you could tell our waiter was extremely busy, he was still very attentive, calm and quick. Also he brought out my nieces cake for her birthday and even sang with us. 10/10 always recommend SPEAKS! (:“
“We come in every year while visiting family in FL. We’ve always been happy however this year was exceptional! From all the food to our server Cecelia we could not have been more satisfied. Thank you for another enjoyable experience for our yearly visit!“
“We celebrated my wife's 70th last night. When we arrived the tablecloth was glowing with little bright multicolored stars and circles. Sean, our sever, was amazing, genuinely friendly, genuinely representing the best menu choices, just so tuned into what we might enjoy. The French onion soup was excellent and in some mystical way the bread has the occasional crunch even though it was submerged in the broth. The South African lobster tails were sweet and tender, and frankly better than the best possible New England lobster. The sliced filet with onion, mushrooms and "fig essence" was perfect. Dessert was on the house for the birthday girl and it too was excellent.“
“We had a beautiful baby shower today. The food was amazing, the servers were stupendous and Dean was so very welcoming and helpful. It was a total home run. Thanks for batting it out of the ballpark! It was a wonderful event and you all made it extra special!“
“First time I ever went there and I have no complaints. Everything was from the service to the food, which was great. My family from Michigan came down wanted oysters, and i suggested this restaurant they never stopped raving how good the oysters and their food were. Thank you, Anna Maria Oyster Bar, for making part of their visit worth talking about. ??“
“I would pick every recommendation possible for this restaurant. Excellent server and staff. Out of bounds drinks. Great food! Relaxing atmosphere!! What more can you ask for?? Really?? What more? Love this restaurant and will recommend to everyone know.“
“We recently visited Lazy Lobster in Longboat Key, Florida, with a group of friends. It was my first time there, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem as friendly as I've experienced in other places. Additionally, our food took quite a while to be ready. However, despite these initial setbacks, the food was truly outstanding, and the drinks were equally impressive. The unexpected quality of the food definitely made up for any shortcomings in service. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors, especially considering the restaurant's unassuming appearance. I was also pleased to find that they offer gluten-free options, which is always a plus. Compared to other restaurants in Longboat Key, Lazy Lobster is reasonably priced. Overall, I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you're a seafood lover looking for a tasty meal at a decent price.Dietary restrictions: “They offer gluten-free option just ask the server”.“
“This was my second visit, I sat at the bar, craving just simple fish fry. The bartender was (not sure of her name) amazing to watch. She was kind, attentive, and fast, with a great personality. This visit sat outside, beautiful day, food was great, service was amazing. I wish drinks were bigger.“
“We had the most delicious meal at Kacey’s over Memorial weekend! I had crab cakes with two sides and they were so yummy. My husband had the coconut shrimp, and son got the grouper prepared in a maple glaze and he said it was DE-Lish. Two of us started with the Lobster bisque, a must if you go there. The other got the ahi tuna which was a great portion. Full bar and really good iced tea, too“
“I was visiting from Canada and I recently had the pleasure of eating at Gulley's and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The owner was also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my experience was nothing short of perfect.I highly recommend Gulley's to anyone looking for amazing fresh traditional food ?“
“Exactly what you would expect from stripmall seafood... AMAZING!!! The seafood was so fresh and delicious, it's too hard to explain. It's the kind of meal that when you take the first bite, you know you made to right decision and are happy with yourself for taking the time to find the place. All you want to do is to go get every single person you know and take them there to eat.I started with the clam chowder, which had so much clam meat, it was like something I would make myself, just I can't make it that good. Then we had the warm lobster roll and then the fishermans platter. When I tell you I was amazing, it reminds me of a few places in Boston, but the people are nicer and the food is 5 times better.Take the time and stop here. I promise you will not regret it. Just FYI, this is NOT a regular full service place.“
“We came to this location for the first time! When walking in it seemed very unorganized, but once we were seated we were hopeful. We sat in RJ’s section- what a friendly super welcoming waiter. He made us feel very welcome even made us laugh a few times. He continued to check on us and was exceptional at his job. We will definitely be back and ask for his section next time. We ordered the chef special boil with medium heat, omg everything was so delish. Muah“
“I'm from Ohio. My uncle, when he lived in Florida, loved this restaurant. He would take me there. Even though he has passed when I'm in Florida, I stop in for memories and the best tasting Ruben Sandwich that I've ever tasted. Service is always great also.“
“We enjoyed an early dinner at Stonewood Grill last night and had an amazing experience! Wonderful food and drinks! Salmon and Chocolate Bread Pudding is very tasty and delicious! The service was excellent! Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs, especially our server Bethany and manager Julio. We will definitely be back!“
“This was a delicious stop! The fish shrimp combo was perfectly cooked. You can choose to grill or fry the fish or shrimp and I asked for extra crispy fries. My husband had a grilled shrimp bowl which was a ton of food but delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Don't hesitate to stop here for fresh seafood!Dietary restrictions: Grilled seafood option and side salad and steamed vegetables are available.“
“5 starts BUT READ!To be honest the food is amazing, fresh and you can tell it is made with love, BUT portions are not like in the pictures, they serve pretty small portions for mexican food and special for this kind of places, we had to come back and buy some tacos in another little places, they came with a lot of protein and they were just 1$ each, in Mexi-Peru they were 3$ each with just a little bit of carne asada on it. Too bad I didn't take pictures because initially I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after being still hungry and having to come back for more food I think this review could be useful, don't get me wrong excellent taste but portions - price not at all!To be honest, the food is delicious! It is fresh and you can see that they cook with love, BUT the portions for Mexican food and this type of place that is like a fair, were very small, they are not like the photos! After eating we were hungry and had to go back to buy $1 tacos at another stall that were also delicious. It is not a negative comment and it is too bad that I did not take a photo, because initially I did not plan to leave any comment, but after having to buy at another stall, and cheaper with more food to be satisfied, I think that this comment would be useful for both The owner and the customers, the food is seriously good but the prices for what they serve are not!“
“Lunch there was very good. There is an extensive seafood menu with other options as well. I had the cobia tacos and my friend had the cobia sandwich. She has eaten there many times and said the food is always good especially the fish and chips and everyone loves the chowder. Oysters on the half shell looked delicious. I will go back soon.“
“It is disappointing these days to go out and get mediocre food, service, and no ambiance for a price you regret. We took our Son out for his 31st birthday and ordered the Cowboy Ribeye, what a flavorful steak, cooked perfectly with outstanding sides and bottle of wine. OMG what an experience. We all enjoyed our meals, the ambiance, and superb service. I highly recommend this restaurant, but bring your gold card. Great Job Guys!!“
“Food was ok! Jumbo shrimp were not what I consider jumbo. Typical size you get in a cocktail. The monkfish was ok. I was really anticipating better food compared to the local restaurant in Ohio and was disappointed. It wasn't bad but not great.“
“I have lunch at the University Park location every week for my networking group meeting. Andie has been our server and I cannot say enough great things about her. She has a great memory and has our drink orders set up before we are even seated. She reminds us to include our membership information so we get credit for our meals, remembers our meals (and if we make a mistake in our orders, reminds us what we really want). She is terrific and makes our weekly visits so much better. ask to be placed in Andie's section!“
“Brad is the best!! He’s always so friendly and attentive! Hallie is so sweet and is always smiling! We just love them!!Kid-friendliness: We bring our kids in all the time and everyone is so welcoming and kind to them! They love the Mac and cheese and chicken tenders!!“
“we had been reading reviews on Facebook so we had to try. it did not disappoint food was delicious. service by Angie was great. they were so accommodating to my allergies to onions, gluten and rice so I had the takos flacos with steak and a side of lettuce tomato and cheese. we also had combo plate taco, tamale and enchilada all just fabulous.“
“A Pleasurable Dining Experience at R.J. Gator’s Restaurant in Bradenton, FL Rating: 4 out of 5 stars We just went to visit to R.J. Gator’s Restaurant in Bradenton, FL and it was an overall pleasurable dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, I was captivated by the restaurant’s neat and inviting atmosphere, accompanied by an awesome menu that delighted my taste buds. R.J.’s has done an exceptional job in creating a welcoming environment. The restaurant was clean, and the tastefully neat decor contributed to a cozy and comfortable ambiance. I found myself instantly relaxed and ready to enjoy a fantastic meal. Speaking of the menu, R.J.’s certainly knows how to impress. The array of options available was remarkable, showcasing a diverse range of culinary delights. I was delighted to find both familiar favorites and unique dishes that piqued my curiosity. Each bite I took was a testament to the chef’s skill and dedication, as the food was undeniably yummy. In addition to the delectable flavors, Gator’s also excelled in providing reasonable prices and generous portions. I felt that the value for money was excellent, and the portion sizes were more than satisfactory. It was evident that R. J.’s takes pride in ensuring their customers are satisfied both in terms of taste and quantity. While my experience was largely positive, I did encounter a minor setback with the service. The waitress seemed slightly inattentive during my visit, which occasionally required me to seek her attention multiple times. However, this did not overshadow the overall excellence of the restaurant. In conclusion, Gator’s Restaurant in Bradenton, FL offers a delightful dining experience. The neat atmosphere, awesome menu, and delicious food combine to create a memorable visit. Despite a minor issue with the service, I wholeheartedly recommend here for anyone seeking a satisfying meal in a cozy setting!!“
“Very impressed and Very full! Great portions for great prices! My hubby said he felt like he was in Louisiana half way through our meal. Definitely worth the drive from Longboat Key where we are staying. Note: cannot eat inside-- takeout only type of place“
“Went there for New Year's Eve. Everything was exceptional. From the time we arrived around 9, until we closed the place down after midnight. The greeting was friendly. Got a great table. Service by Brodie (sp) was exceptional. She was there when we needed something as if she had a 6th sense. The food was as good as I’ve had in a while. The mussels had the best broth I can remember. The grouper plicata was an unusual and tasty dish. The espresso martini was excellent. The band. Donnie Bostic, was professional, fun and entertaining. We love to dance and they put out a great dance beat. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.“
“The food is good and for the price it’s really good. Happy hour drinks are real and the prices are great. The service is down to earth, very attentive and efficient. All of the staff are friendly. The place is A little tacky but they know that and it’s ok. We go a couple times a month. It can be very busy at times but that’s what happens when something is good.“
