We tried council oak for dinner one night and was very pleased. The atmosphere is great and the service is so friendly and attentive. It was quite busy when we went but the food came out hot and quick. We ordered iceberg salads, calamari, baked potato, garlic herb fries, creamed spinach, Brussels sprouts, filet mignon, and salmon. Still likely one of my favorite steak and seafood restaurants when in the Miami areas. Service is always top notch with a staff of professionals. 8 Oz lobster tails always cooked to perfection. This evening I had the 18 oz prime rib which was cooked to a perfect medium rare yet nicely charred on the outside. Although I had a very disappointing birthday meal at Council Oak, I must say the customer relations side is very competent. Maybe my waiter was just not trained properly or he was having an "off" night, but my thanks to Council Oak for making this right. I don't know that I'll be back to dine, but your professionalism certainly changed my overall perception of your establishment.
