May 10-2022 ~. My husband and I were looking for a nice mom and pop Cuban restaurant for breakfast . This gem popped up. Read fact at the end of my note !!!I told my husband this the kind of place I wanted .Low key , really not much to the cafe in itself . But we love to find places like this to also help small business in this difficult Economic times .The chef is the cook and also the waiter .Love his Cuban accent . He is a hard worker . You can see into the kitchen . Bathroom was clean . Café con leche is super strong be very ready for that ?.This is a place for the locals absolute . I will def come back here for lunch . Also breakfast is served ALL DAY .Come ready to meet Humberto who like I said cooks and Serves you.Little fact :Humberto told me that the plaza they are in will be demolished to build apartments . He has been there for 21 years . He was a bit sad when he told me . My heart broke . He will prob be there until the end of the year . So. Head up there when you are in town and give him a try . In his business cards he has his contact info . So I plan to contact him . Hopefully they reopen somewhere else . Food is cheap so give them extra tip.If you have been watching Johnny Deep trial , they guy vaping while giving his testimony well Humberto has that kind of character ?. He is so funny

I ate the " Cuban Sandwich" and it was awesome ? I recommend that you get the " hot sauce". The owner is on the spot cooking and interacting with customers!!It's a cool spot and as OG as it can get !!

Disgusting! Flying gnats and I don't like restaurants that allow workers to make food without gloves. Customer service was poor. Cuban toast, hard and stale. Cafe con Leche decent and cheap. Not returning ever.
