Julia was our server and she along with Bella the robot gave us great service. Ally the owner came to our table and said he can adjust menu items for allergies just let him know. “Motor City Coney Island Ft Myers 3-25-25 We had to stop by here on a Tuesday for their special priced Coney Island Hot Dog at $2.99. We arrived there at 11:37 with just a couple tables with customers at them, but the place was not packed. This place was neat and very clean with everything in order. I loved the interior, the little bar area and Patio out front. Let me start by saying my expectations were not set high as I figured I’m going to review a place that just serves hot dogs. Boy was I wrong! This place exceeded all my expectations by a mile and then some. They serve so much more than Hot Dogs; they serve Breakfast all day, they have all kinds of Salads, Wraps, Melts, Pittas, Clubs, Gyros, Burgers, Fish and serve Beer and limited Alcohol. They will even Cater events for you. I ordered the Original Coney which had Chillie, Onion & Mustard. My wife Ordered the Tuna Wrap. Our friend ordered the Chili Cheese Dog which came with Chili and Cheese Sauce. We all ordered a side of Fries with our main orders. Our food came out a short time later and it looked amazing. I could not believe how good our food was. Our Dogs were piled high with toppings. This was by far the best Hot dog I had in this area. My wife’s Tuna wrap was very good and so big she could not eat the entire wrap. Our friend loved his Chili Cheese dog. All our food was hot and plenty of it even the Fries were good. Our waiter Freddy was spot on with checking on us. We even met one of the owners Armando which took the time out to introduce himself. You must put this place on your Must Stop By List you will not be sorry and certainly stop back just like we are going to do. “Really excellent fried chicken! Spicy BBQ was slightly spiced and super flavorful, my wife had the lemon honey drumsticks and they were super tender with a crunchy breading. Everything looks and tastes like it was homemade, no frozen chicken here. And the portions are generous, you’ll be headed home with leftovers for sure!

The service was really great too, the gentleman working the dining room was on the ball and a really pleasant guy overall.

Th coleslaw is a sleeper too, some of the best I’ve had in my entire life.

“My husband and I came in for a fresh seafood dinner and this restaurant did not disappoint. Our waiter, Justin, was incredible from start to finish. His extensive knowledge of the menu offerings coupled with his exuberance had us smiling and laughing like we were speaking with an old friend. We decided to create our own tasting of sorts from the fine selections of fresh seafood. Our meal included the NOLA Oysters which were baked and served with seasoned butter, the crab cake appetizer which was serving of lump crab held together by a crispy sear and no filler, as well as the chilled seafood tower. Every bite from start to finish was delectable. We had crab, lobster, tuna tartar, shrimp and oysters. Each bite was more spectacular than the previous as we sampled each offering. We have already decided the next time we are in town that this restaurant will be a must! 5 Stars out of 5!!”

“Come for the oysters stay for the swordfish BLT. We had a dozen East Coast oysters and four West Coast, absolutely outstanding. Additionally they have a bottomless Mimosa, and the swordfish BLT was large enough for my husband and I to share, knowing we were going to order the homemade donuts for dessert. The car in front of me had one small bag of food. I'm sitting in my car complaining to myself in disbelief that it took so long for a small bag. I told her that it was a really long wait and she told me that I should go someplace next time. she assumed that I was yelling at her when I was complaining about the really long wait. Last I knew, you parked people if their food is going to take a while. Not back up the drive thru. And you certainly don't tell your loyal customers to go someplace else or treat them like we are an inconvenience. So thank you to the female in the drive thru who was so nasty to a loyal customer.”

Even though the place is small it’s clean and neat with trains running overhead of you. The walls are lines with hats from businesses all over this area. They have such a large selection and it’s all in the case right in front of you so you can see what you’re going to order. You stand in front of the ice cream cases to order. Lots of times there are lines, but they move fast. They have just about anything you want from 1, 2 or 3 scoops cones to banana splits. They have regular, waffle, to sprinkle cones and bowls. You name it when it comes to ice cream, they have it. I have always liked Daddy Dees ice cream. It’s not soft, it’s a hard ice cream with lots of flavor. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Coffee was great I had a double order of the trad macchiato and it was the best I had in a while! Got a coffee cinnamon muffin for in and several Haitian goodies to go that were delicious! Fair prices (they could honestly raise them and they’d still be fair) Hope I see them next time I’m in town! Sweetest man at the desk!”
