“I visited Island Beach Bar and Restaurant in July while on vacation in Florida. My home base there is Delray Beach. I heard about Hutchinson Island and went with a friend to check it out. Oh my gosh! I was so blown away by the location and Island Beach Bar! Felt like I just plopped onto a Caribbean Island! I love Florida so much but the extra Island vibes here are amazing! We were greeted so warmly by a staff member and had a super tasty meal and although I didn't have any alcohol, the iced coffee was very good! We walked around the grounds and found out they have beach service too along with really nice outdoor seating and a bar. They also have live music there too. It was a really fantastic experience and can't wait to go back! Highly recommend checking it out!”

We were seated quickly despite it being busy and the entire staff was incredible. They all checked in on us during our meal and were attentive to all of their customers. The curry pineapple fried rice was served in a pineapple shell boat and had shrimp, beef, pork and chicken mixed in. the beef teriyaki was excellent and the vegetables that came with it were ALL cooked perfectly from the carrots to the bok cabbage, broccoli and even the Snow peas! When you go in you will be greeted by George and Samuel on the grill and Jeanie, Sam, and Allie who will make you feel like you’re old friends. They will soon be serving dinner with the classic diner fare as well as some specialty Greek dishes. I can’t wait to be able to visit Dave’s for all three meals!”

She was polite and friendly and made the BEST milkshake I've ever had in my life - and that's saying a lot because I drink them on the regular. The last visit, however, an old lady was behind the counter and she handed me what was essentially chocolate milk. So watered down it was like 90% milk and maybe 1/2 scoop of ice cream. I don't know if she was just trying to be cheap or if she legitimately doesn't know what a milkshake is, but it was super disappointing. Also, she seemed annoyed to even have to make it, so I didn't ask her to fix it and I should have. *sigh*”

Chelsea was so helpful, and even though she was very busy, she has a smile and something nice to say to everyone. We got several items: spinach/feta croissant, mini eclairs, cream puff, and a cheese danish. Prices were very reasonable. Every one of these items were superb! We were in heaven! My husband's mother was Slovak, and she made the best cream puffs in the world. No one could come close, until we tasted Importico's. Closest thing we have ever had to his Mom's! “This place came recommended from a fellow Michigander. We wanted a simple Michigan type Chinese lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the setting. The lunch menu is all I wanted and the wife took half hers home. The tea was hot and good, the soup had a good depth of flavor and the wontons were really good. The egg roll had cabbage in it and not bean sprouts, but were good. The dipping sauce at the table were a good pairing. We picked chicken with vegetables and General Tao. Both were excellent with more flavor depth than what we are used to. My fried rice was a little oily but still okay. Our waitress was pleasant and top notch. One of the better places we have tried in the area and better than the place we are going to in Michigan. We will be back and try something else. Overall better than most and a good value.”

I have been eating there ever since it was Dale's (same owner) and the food has always been typical good sliced pork sandwiches with slaw and steak fries. The chicken tenders are great as well. I highly recommend if you're in the mood for a good BBQ lunch.”

I went here with my family for dinner, and I had never had this restaurant before so i was a little anxious as someone with trouble trying new food, I briefly explained my nervousness and after I ordered and got my food Mary kept checking on me,-- my family too-- but she made sure I was happy with my food.

She's very thoughtful and just a great server overall, she has a wonderful personality and was patient with me and my family as they also hadn't eaten here, or at least in a very long time. I also work in food service and the way Mary interacted with guests and coworkers was so nice and refreshing to see in an industry with so much toxicity.
