“Went there yesterday 12-23-2023 and was easily the best bbq brisket i have had in a long time. The brisket was so tender and not too heavily smoked and the sides were delicious. When i do not need bbq sauce then i know it’s excellent bbq. Highly recommended as the food tastes great and price is very reasonable.“

We had yummy tender delicious pork steaks, black beans, rice ( best black beans & rice ever, so flavorful) fried sweet plantains, and flan for dessert. “This restaurant gets 4 stars because of the owner going out of her way to make fresh oxtails for my daughter. The oxtail's themselves were NOT my cup of tea but my daughter liked them. The macaroni and candied yams were delicious. I think the goal is to go back and order soul food that is more "American" and see how that turns out. They know how to treat customers even though the place is a quaint little spot in Fort Pierce. It makes it just that much nicer to me. Like going to my aunts kitchen!“
“Good smoke on the pig.Pulled pork was juicy and you could taste the pig, topped with a vinegar based coleslaw and a nice tangy mustard base sauce, pilled high. “We were in Fort Pierce for some family fun, and we couldn't leave without going to NuNus . The food was amazing! I had the deep fried red snapper, rice & shrimp,macaroni/cheese, and greens. The fish was fried, just right. The Mac was cheesy and flavorful. The greens were well cooked and seasoned well.My son had fried chicken that was finger licking good. My daughter had fried catfish, candy yams, and corn bread. A must try if your in Fort Pierce“
