“For the area of fort pierce, this is the cuban food place to go. I am colombian and at Mervis I have always enjoy the best cup of coffe with a delicious tripleta. The menu is very original and when my cooworkers need that extra afternoon push.. the colada fix all of that.“
“Good Lunch!Ordered the Tripleta sandwich. Came with fries which I didn't expect. Tried to order the yucca but they were out. Ordered an empanada instead.Empanada was good. I've made them; they are hard to stuff full and this beef one was very good with an average amount of filling. It wasn't jam packed, but it sure wasn't scrawny. Filling was tasty, pastry was crispy and it came with a sweetened cilantro creme sauce.Sandwich was awesome. Had roast shredded pork, grilled chicken and beef, all of which was seasoned great, very flavorful. Sauteed onions and a few red pickled(?) onions were on top with cheese. Sandwich was pressed perfectly and served with a cilantro cream sauce that was really good but a touch too sweet for my taste. In my humble opinion, an avocado/cilantro/lime sauce would have been better, but that's just my taste. I added some hot sauce (Cholula) that I had at the shop and it balanced the sweet. Overall, really good, and they have Cuban coffee, cafe Cubano/colada, etc. I'll definitely be back.I love Latin/Cuban/Mexican cuisine and what I had was really good. Give it a try. I see some - reviews here but my experience was very positive. Friendly staff and patrons too!“
“Small restaurant with down to earth service. Prices are very affordable. The pupusas are delish, fresh and not greasy. We tried one of each. I also had the egg, cheese and beans baleada (flour wrap) and the refreshing hibiscus juice. Another time we had the from-scratch beef soup and veggies (only on Sat) and the meat with green plantains, cabbage and beet salad on top ?“
“Food was very tasty. Yucca with the sauce was ridiculous. I didn't love the arroz de moro. I found it lacked seasoning completely, they were quick to replace it for me, which I was thankful for.My wife fell in love with their empanadas. Took another 3 home with us!Service always attentive without being over intrusive.Definitely one of my new go to spots.Being that I'm originally out of Miami, I'm excited to have found a place with real Latino food.“
“Definitely American style Mexican, which is the main reason for 4 stars; flavors taste like any other Americanized Mexican place. BUT, it’s still very good tasting and by far more food for your money than most restaurants. The whole family enjoyed everything we ate.“
“Went for the salas and bachata dance classes on Wednesday and it was amazing. The instructions were great and everyone was friendly and helpful. The music was great , the drinks were good, and the atmosphere amazing. I’m only in PSL for a few months, but I’ll definitely be back to practice my moves.“
“Everything on the menu has meat, however the cook was very accommodating and made the fried rice without meat. It was so tasty and perfectly seasoned. Cuban coffee was to die for!Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu had meat, however the cook was very accommodating and made fried rice without meat. It was so tasty!“
