Exceptional Waitress! On President’s weekend we came for dinner. Greeted by Ashley Rose who couldn’t be more pleasant. Upon discovering the restaurant was out of beef brisket and Turkey, both of which we wanted, Ashley went above and beyond to cover for the restaurants shortage of menu items. She was so attentive and apologetic! She did an exceptional job making our dinner a great success! Please reward her, more places need an Ashley Rose!!

I was visiting this location on a business trip for work. Cat was my server and the manager in charge from what it seemed. She was battling a call out and she did what she could. I can tell she wasn't happy but she still gave great service. They were out of baby backs so I had to get the pulled pork instead which was great! This is the first time they told me it would be an hour wait for ribs so I just switched it up. Good experience overall.

Service was great. Atmosphere was really nice too. But the food was horrible. Sliced pork had no smoky-ness to it nor the chicken. Very bland. Tasted kinda old. Like it had been sitting in the fridge for a few days. Beans tasted burnt and garlic bread was actually tough. That was NOT BBQ!! Also tater tots and fries were still frozen at the center. Just couldn't force ourselves to order dessert. Shameful dinner performance by Sonny's. They should be ashamed of their BBQ abilities.

I grew up in Gainesville 5 miles from the first Sonny’s Barbecue. Sonny Tillman created a wonderful establishment unfortunately Sonny’s has lost there touch. They have cutback on the chunks of meat in their beans they dropped the salad bar during Covid and have decided not to bring it back . Huge mistake the chicken and dumplings the chili and the options on the salad bar where a huge draw . I’m sure they have seen a big drop in business since removing the salad bar. Southern pig and cattle still offers salad bar as does Ruby Tuesdays. Corporate May want to rethink things .

Big Thank you to the ladies working on Christmas eve! & the cooks in the back.I was starving, working since 8am and didn't get a chance to eat all day. Stopped at Sonys in Fort pierce for some comfort food, saw they closed at 7pm, so i ordered quickly cause I know how it is to want to finish and go home. Those ladies welcomed me with a smile from the moment I walked in the door and were so kind.Its the simple things(Those loaded tots are fire btw ?)

Wow. I haven't been in Sonny's for a long time but it was such a was such a waste of my money. My kids did not like the mac. It was brown looking. My baked potato was sad looking. They don't have the salad bar anymore which is why I went. Because of "covid". And the chicken and dumpling are only on Sundays and Mondays. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. I was so upset leaving knowing I had wasted 50 bucks.

I admit I was skeptical ordering from a chain, but these guys do it right. The baby back ribs were awesome! They also load up the amount of pork in their beans. Definitely worth it.
I have been eating here for a long time and the quality of your food is horrible . I had a lg. sliced pork sandwich that had zero smoke rings and was so dry I might as well eat it in the rain my wife had the chicken and it was over cooked and dry to . We hardly ever see the same servers always different faces do you have a new cook. In the kitchen ? Keep serving low quantity food and y “all will be closed quick . The only saving grace was your server she was very Attentive to our needs and was great . We love the Sonny’s BBQ from years ago better then now .

Well I had gone there on a Saturday with my mom & dad & my uncle & my uncle's wife well I had a sliced turkey sandwich with fries ? ? oh & we also had some fried Ocra with ranch but it was really good ?? but it's sad that theirs no more Sonny's where I live or I don't know of any other Sonny's that could be around the area, but anyways Sonny's always has good food options! ????

Food and service are generally okay. The place itself though is old and dirty and badly needs to be updated. I've been going here for 15 years and I don't think a single thing has changed. Ceiling tiles make you feel gross
