I always heard good things about Kinfolks BBQ. However, I’ve never been here before so I decided to take my family with me to get our first experience together. And boy did we get a phenomenal first experience! We arrived here as party of five (2 adults and 3 children). While we always love eating good food we weren’t particularly hungry when we arrived here that day. So we thought we will try their something simple and straightforward just to get an idea of their food. So we ordered a family platter (which according to the menu it should able to feed 4 people). It came with a half-chicken, brisket and as a side with got some coleslaw, white bread and French fries. Long story short that plate only made us more hungrier because of how delicious it was and we ended up ordering even more brisket in the end. Food was off the charts in terms of taste. It was very tasty and flavorful. My daughter (8 years old) even said that we should come here every day (!). She doesn’t always say that. And that should tell something about the food here. Oh by the way, the staff treated us like family. They were super friendly, welcoming and showed that authentic southern hospitality! And the prices were very reasonable too. Overall we had an absolutely great time. We most definitely will be coming back here again.Parking: It’s located inside the small business plaza. Thus, there’s plenty of public parking space, at least when we arrived there was ample space.Kid-friendliness: Good food options for kids

Ate here for lunch yesterday with a party of 4 while in the area for a conference. Had never been, but it was recommended. Had a great first experience. Ordered the chicken/beef combo plate with the beans and Brunswick stew. All was excellent (though the brisket was a tad dry due to it being what appeared to be a lean cut). Service was excellent and friendly. The sides of baked beans (really excellent) and Brunswick stew (very good) were great additions to the meal. Recommended.

New to the area and was looking for BBQ .. this place is just by the house so I stopped by for a pulled pork sandwich. Service was great! Very friendly. I order 2 pulled pork sandwiches which were ok .. nothing to report home about but ok.Will try something else the next time.
If your expect to get your money's worth this isn't the place. The food is ok, its not on a true smoker. Just being
